GOP fires another shot in war on women
Those misogynistic Republicans cared little about the president’s veto threat as the GOP dominated House voted yesterday to prevent federal loan costs from doubling for millions of college students by cutting much needed medical resources to women the day before thousands of ladies are planning a march in protest of republican mistreatment.
The vote gave the republicans a brief election-year triumph on a bill that has become enmeshed in partisan battles over the economy, women’s issues, and President Obama’s health care overhaul. The measure’s 215-195 passage was another waste of taxpayer money because the package is going nowhere in the Democratic-dominated Senate. Both parties agree students’ interest costs should not rise, but they are clashing along a familiar fault line over how to cover the $6 billion tab: Republicans want spending cuts and Democrats want higher revenues. In other words the GOP prefers to protect their wealthy friends while while continuing their war on women.
Democrats trained their fire on the Republican plan to pay for the bill by abolishing a preventive health fund created by Obama’s 2010 revamping of the health care system. Democrats said that program especially helped women by allocating money for cancer screening and other initiatives and that eliminating it was only the latest GOP blow against women. “Give me a break,” roared House Speaker John Boehner to rousing cheers from Republican lawmakers. “This is the latest plank in the so-called war on women, entirely created by my colleagues across the aisle for political gain.”
Why do you think the republicans are intentionally angering the largest voting block in America during an election year? Are they willing to throw away the election to protect their rich friends? Do you think they are really waging a war on women?

And that is in a way the most wonderful thing happening in my humble.
The shit the Repuglickers are doing are only waking the sleeping giant which is the do all and end all…my wife and daughter are gonna kick their sorry asses!
Oh women are pissed alright. I was out today getting people registered to vote here and once again, I was getting lot of first time female voters because of what the GoOpers are doing. They don’t stand a chance this year if women vote. They are already so far behind with women from polling I have seen, it will be way difficult to win with just white southern Christian conservative males, but keep on keeping on GoOpers, soon you will have 2 maybe 3 states you can win. Even AZ is a toss up state this year.
Why is it almost every policy to control women by the GOP is supported by the Bible? Duh!
I think they are hoping that women, and the general voting public, will be complacent and unresponsive. It’s absolutely galling that women aren’t more inflamed and pissed off at what they’re doing (Erin and myself excluded, of course)! Rise up everybody! And I agree, AUGH!
AUGH! That’s it. Anything else would be filled with swearing and screaming at the top of my lungs.
