Reducing The National Debt Romney Style

NEWS FLASH – FEBRUARY 20, 2015- FLORIDA AND DELAWARE NEW CHINESE PROVINCES –

In being true to his word President Mitt Romney has drastically reduced the national debt by more than 50%. Staying true to his business practices that he used at Bain Capital Romney and the Republican dominated congress ramrodded through a bill that gives China exclusive rights to the land areas of what is now Florida and Delaware in exchange for an 8 trillion dollar reduction in America’s debt to China. China also agrees to purchase any land from anyone who chooses not to remain in those areas. There were no specifics on the terms those landowners could expect from the Chinese. The exchange is to take place effective July 1, 2015.

In a statement from the White House a smiling Romney, bracketed by House Speaker Eric Cantor and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, said, “I am really pleased to have worked out this arrangement on behalf of the American people. I promised that I would reduce the debt and I have. I promised to create new jobs and China has assured me that there would be millions of new jobs available in these new areas.” When asked if those new jobs would pay competitively with U.S. jobs he said, “Well, of course, I would have no control over that since that would be China’s territory and their laws and business practices would apply. Also, if people do not want to work there they would not have to go there.”

Romney also responded to a question as to how the American people would benefit from the arrangement. He said, “First and foremost, we can now really jump start the economy the right way with some massive tax cuts the the job creators in this country. I plan to reduce corporate taxes and capital gains taxes to zero to encourage corporations to come to America and to encourage investment in America.” When asked about the working people of the country Romney gave a really big smile and clapped his and said, ” They are the ones who will really benefit. Once the corporations start coming into the country and the investors start putting there money into this country, jobs will start popping up all over. It is really very simple.”

Meanwhile the Attorneys General from Florida and Delaware were in the process of preparing their law suit against the federal government for grand theft of land it didn’t own. Of interest is the fact that both Florida and Delaware went against Romney in the last Presidential election. When told about that Romney just gave his same old grin and said, “I love America. The trees are just the right height, and blah, blah….

Republicans, be careful what you wish for because it may be gone before you get it.

When looking at a company would Mitt only look at its debt and ignore its assets? What are the Federal assets we are leaving our children? I suspect they are 10 times the debt. If I leave my kids $1 million in debt and $10 million in land, buildings, and other assets they will be happy.

That’s about how I felt as I wrote it Mike. I hope the Repubs think about it also because I would put nothing past him or people like Cantor or McConnell.
