A Bucket Of Warm Biden

Read Time:2 Minute, 36 Second

John Nance Garner IV was the 32nd Vice-President of the United States. He once remarked that the job “wasn’t worth a bucket of warm piss. He served for two terms from 1933 to 1941. His boss in the White House was liberal superhero, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Apparently President Roosevelt didn’t listen to Vice-President Garner enough.

There must be an election on the horizon, because yesterday current Vice-President Joe Biden was sighted in Danville, Virginia. For many months now, the buzz word “unshackle” has been thrown about by the Republicans like rice at a June wedding. The government needs to “unshackle” Wall Street, needs to “unshackle” business in general to get the sluggish economy moving. Biden replaced “unshackle” with “unchain.”

We got a real clear picture of what they all value. Every Republican’s voted for it. Look at what they value and look at their budget and what they’re proposing. Romney wants to let the big banks once again write their own rules, ‘unchain Wall Street.’ They’re going to put y’all back in chains.

The Romney camp was outraged by Biden’s insensitive remarks, because black people were in Biden’s audience, conservatives could never be so obnoxious. Romney himself said:

His campaign has resorted to diversions and distractions, to demagoguing and defaming others . . . It’s an old game in politics; what’s different this year is that the president is taking things to a new low.

When conservatives are outraged at something a liberal says, my feeling is, “hey people, we must be onto something.” Joe Biden is prone to saying things that can be used in evidence against him. At the health care signing ceremony, Biden leaned into President Obama and said “This is a big fucking deal” Whoops Joe, that mic is live. Even though all liberals knew it was a big fucking deal, perhaps at the White House, in front of a ravenous press corps, a more sober “Well done Mr. President” would have sufficed.

I for one, welcome the outrage. I hope that between now and November 6, republicans are outraged daily by anyone including Joe Biden. “Unshackle’ or “unchain” its all the same sentiment. Romney/Ryan want to let the banks and giant corporations loose (again) on the non-millionaires in American society.

Peering through the political smoke screens, it boils down to this. Its a son of a single parent, born in Hawaii and the son of a car salesman, from Scranton, Pennsylvania versus, a son of a Minnesota political dynasty who went on to screw the financial and tax system and the son of a wealthy Wisconsin family who been sipping on the federal milkshake for most of his life but doesn’t want anyone else to do the same. More outrage please. Lets make the bastards angry. Angry people usually fail.

Joe Biden is my kind of politician. He is likable and he is real and I like that. Sure, I guess he pops of his mouth once in a while but that is what make him real. What he is usually saying is nothing bad it just that the Republican freaks try to twist and turn it into something bad. he reminds me of a nicer, kinder Lyndon Johnson.

Biden is a good and decent man and I’ve been voting for him for years and years and will continue to vote for Obama/Biden.

When the right stops comparing everything to abortion and slavery, MAYBE they can complain. Until then, Go Joe! (Great article!)
