Burying Bachmann and Buying Graves in Minnesota?

Holy smokes and land sakes alive! We never thought that the Minnesota folk who voted for crazy Michele Bachmann would ever understand they had voted for a fool.  Yet it appears they just might be seeing the light, and may think about voting for sanity over insanity:

(Newser) Michele Bachmann may be right about a political storm coming, but it’s apparently headed her way. The Minnesota congresswoman is leading Democratic rival Jim Graves by only 2 points after support among independents dropped from +15% to -4%, according to a new poll commissioned by Graves and Salon. What’s more, her overall “negative” numbers are bad, with 57% giving her a negative job rating and 35% calling it “poor”—the lowest possible rating, Salon reports.

The lack of a third-party candidate to siphon off votes may be helping Graves, but his name is known to fewer voters—just 38%, compared to 99% for Bachmann. Still, Graves’ team argues that he’s winning over the voters who do get to know him. Another potential bummer for Bachmann: She has probably commissioned her own surveys, Salon notes, but the fact that she won’t release them implies that the news is none too good.

What do you think?  Should it be Michele Bachmann or someone who might actually have an ounce of sense like Jim Graves?

I have warned about Bahencrazy for years. I have run out of adjectives and tired of making up new ones. I can only hope that she, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Rusho Blahbag get lost at sea in a two person dingy just before a hurricane hits. Actually, I just wish they would disappear into their own little worlds and be forgotten.

Bachmann has got to go!! I’m not from MN, but that does not matter. I’ve watched her time in Congress & throughout the Presidental campaign and I’m sickened. She’s created international chaos for our country & for our Secretary of State Hillary Clinton personally, by fake conspiracies & nutty BS posted all over the Internet. She’s an extremist. And she invokes religious bigotry with her warmongering mentality. She’s a hater. Please Minnesotans vote her out!!!

Bachmann part II:

I sat next to an amazing woman on a long flight. She was 93 and lived in Michigan in her own home. The parts of her life story that she shared spoke of a woman who was a trail blazer. She was very talkative and the conversation wandered into politics. As I have a rule to avoid such topics with strangers I mostly listened. Her optimism turned dark as she told me how sad it was that many in our Congress were “unamerican”. Her heart ached for those who were going to be sent to “re-education” camps. And how awful it was that Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize when a lady whose name and country she could not recall should have gotten the award (thank you Fox).

So you see, the good people of Minnesota must once again decide if the good Mrs. Bachmann does for them outweighs the bad. She has exported ignorance and fear in their names.

Part I:

I have long believed that representative government meant that the people vote into power those who will bring to the larger forum the needs of their individual communities. They also choose elected officials who will work for the greater good of the country. That the beliefs and views of these officials are as different as the landscapes they hale from is what demands intellegent and cooperative comportment.

So it is up to the good people of Minnesota’s 6th (?) to skin their own skunks. The problem with Michele Bachmann is that she does not just represent the people of her district. She has positioned herself to represent Michele Bachmann to the nation.

Jim Graves! Michele Bachmann is too divisive, she’s an Islamaphobe and homophobe and she’s just too far, far right for just about everyone in Minnesota except Allen Quist supporters. Bachmann’s gotta GO!
