Real Identity of anti-Muslim Filmmaker Revealed

All day yesterday the world was under the impression one Sam Bacile had produced the ridiculous movie Innocence of Muslims, the trailer of which was available, albeit in several parts, on YouTube.  Apparently, even the big name news outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, and Times of Israel were duped.

(Newser) Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is indeed behind the anti-Muslim film that sparked violence in Egypt, Libya, and Yemen, a US law enforcement official confirms. The AP initially went looking for “Sam Bacile,” the supposed creator of the film, and linked that name to Nakoula; Nakoula previously denied he was the same person, and said he managed logistics for the film’s production company.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton spoke out today about the film in question, calling it “disgusting and reprehensible” and said it was meant specifically to offend, the AP reports. Even so, she noted, that’s no excuse for the attacks on US diplomatic missions. She had earlier denounced the film, but not as harshly.

If you haven’t seen the trailer, at least part one, that turned the Muslim world upside down,  check it out and let us know what you think:

TOTAL RUBBISH – LAUGHABLE IF NOT FOR THE SHOCKING EVENTS IT HAS PROVOKED.

Imagine you know a guy that has a penchant for punching the closest person to him in the nose if he hears “You’re an a**hole sometimes!” except the problem is that he is occasionally an a**hole.

Now imagine you’re watching him from a one-sided mirror with a microphone, and there’s another person in the room with him.

You have the right of free speech, as well as the right to remain silent. What do you do?

I hate it when people act like awful human beings and insist that they have the right to be an awful human. This situation just happens to be one where other, innocent people get killed.

I think they call that reckless homicide Linh. As I said earlier, there are limits on freedoms. At some point people have to held accountable for exercising freedoms that get other people hurt. This guy is sitting over here hiding while causing harm with anti Muslim film. How about we pick him up and drop him in the middle of Yemen or Iran and let him scream about Muslims all he wants.
I REALLY HATE COWARDS LIKE HIM

If it offends Muslims, it offends me. The same way if it offends Christians, it offends me. The same way if it offends Jews, it offends me. The same way if it offends atheists, it offends me.
Ridiculing someone’s belief is offensive period.
Killing people because someone ridiculed your religion is a sure sign you are not learning the right things from your religion.

I think that one clip is enough for me. It is cheaply made and if filmmakers got $5M to make this, somebody pocketed a chunk of change.

How noble of the GOP candidate for President to defend free speech principles. He may have forgotten that his party’s platforn included an amped-up anti-porn plank.

And surely the FRC should be decrying this piece congealed porn. It is “disgusting and reprehensible”.

I am all for free speech in this country. However, when you produce something like this that puts troops and others in additional harms way, I think it becomes somewhat like yelling fire in a crowded theater. This individual can say what he pleases but to put out a film that he knows is going to enrage Muslims, even the moderate ones, should be criminal.
