I can relate to the cost of pets. I just paid my vet $600 to sew up my cat’s face after he escaped from the house and got into a street fight! But, I spent it with love and caring for him. He’s my “second dog”.

Having had a few dogs in my life and experience with other people’s children, the more I see of the latter, the better I like the former. 😉
