Mike, you know that I’m not an atheist, but I’m equally pissed at this shit. People always use God as a scapegoat to excuse their atrocities, and the truth is, he doesn’t give a fuck about any of it!

As Penn Gillette said in his video, the leaders are probably not at bat-shit crazy as they talk. They only know that the religious BS is an easy way to manipulate their power base.

Agreed James. Like the constitution, religious BS, such as the bible, is twisted and interpreted to suit the needs of the moment.

And we call ourselves civilized. A noble concept worth pursuing, as it has been since the human race became, well, civilized. Maybe someday the human race will grow to understand fully the concept and perhaps succeed.
Likely not in our lifetime. And maybe never…

Choose never Les. Humans crave power and control and will sacrifice anything one or anyone to get it. It seems to have always been that way and therefore will always be that way.
