The Republicans should be glad to see France acting like America

It’s getting tough to be a reactionary Right Winger these days. Fortunately for them hypocrisy doesn’t matter.
They hate President Obama because they say he’s a Kenyan Muslim. Which of course means they hate him because he’s black and has a Muslim sounding name even though President Obama has “Commander and Chiefed” the killing of black Somali pirates and thousands of Muslims. You just can’t please some people I guess. Might as well take their guns. They hate Obama anyway.
The reactionary Righties hate the French also. The French left Vietnam in our hands decades ago and look what that got us. The Righties see France as a bunch of pansies. My republican cousin from Maryland likes to tell me about the good deal he got on a used French army rifle. He said it’d only been thrown down once.
But the damn French are ticking off the real American patriots who love guns and hate President Obama and the effete Frenchies since now the French have been bombing hell out of Islamist rebels in Mali the past couple days. They even have special forces stationed in Mali. Just when a reactionary Rightie thinks he has everything figured out this happens, not to mention the role the French took in Libya. How dare they have a military action they didn’t mess up?
It should be noted that France has a giant oil company named Total and a giant telecom company named Orange that do lots of business in Africa. I’m not saying that’s why France decided to bomb Mali rebels or help get rid of Gaddafi, on the contrary, I’m just saying Dick Cheney and the reactionary Righties should be glad to see France acting like America.

The Right hates the French almost as much as they hate Obama. In both cases they don’t have a really good idea why, beyond the obvious prejudice of all things different of course.

Those of the far right love to hate. If you are not a hater then they hate you. Most normal people do not like being in an agitated state. It makes them unhappy. Far righties are not happy unless they are they are agitated, angry and hating someone or some thing.
