Last August, 6-year-old Jason Black tried to hug the “rabbit” and his older brother Elijah tried to hold his hand, but the employee ignored the boys, they tell Fox News. “The rabbit was turning his back on him like he didn’t event want to touch him,” Elijah recalls. “I went up to try to hold his hand but he kept on flicking my hand off.”
When two white children approached, however, the character showered them with attention and hugs, the boys’ parents say. The family filed a complaint, with photo evidence, but they weren’t satisfied with management’s offer of VIP passes. They want a public apology and for the employee to be fired, in order to ensure “this doesn’t happen to another family,” says Jason Black Sr. They hired an attorney after months of battling, when Disney asked them to sign a confidential waiver in exchange for $500, and are now asking Disney to review surveillance footage of the incident.

Bill, as a gay man lacking 1700 state and federal rights and being the most beaten , killed and discriminated American ,then have the black community stab you in the back at the polls, and then whine about shit like this pisses me off just a bit.

If you mean my comment, there was nothing racist about it. To think there was is to be racist. I have known many people of all persuasion that look at any incident like this as a way to hit the jackpot. Unfortunately, many do.

I don’t think Wil was referring to your comment James, but in any case you’re right. These folk, right or wrong, expected a huge payout from Disney, but it hasn’t been that easy as it turns out.

Well, look at it from another perspective. If I were that father and I felt that my child was wronged, I would be a bit pissed myself. You can screw with me pretty much all you want just don’t mess with my kids or my dog. I am a pretty laid back person as you well know Mike, but things can get ugly if you mess with anyone of those three creatures. Well, I guess there are five more now with my grand-kids. Growing up as a bastard child I had my share of mistreatment by my step fathers family and I was, and still am, determined that know one would ever mistreat one of mine.

There are blacks who play the race card at every hint of supposed slights. They do so to make money, steal someone’s job, or gain personal or political fortune. I’m not suggesting all people of color do this, but in my experience there are those that do, so let’s take the rose colors off those liberal lenses and see the world for what it is.

Charlie I have to agree with you as I was victimized by a professional race baiter. It cost me dearly and changed my perspective.

Silly rabbit, hugs are for everybody. Last time I went to Disneyland, Goofy copped a feel of my ass when I was getting my pic taken with him.
