Who the f*ck is Howard Stern?

We seem to live in a celebrity driven world. Pop stars appear and disappear with dreary regulatory. Politicians appear and say silly things and then vanish again.
Movie stars ask us to save the world while they earn millions of dollars for appearing in average movies, or, occasionally complete turkeys. Radio personalities talk over the music because they think they’re more important than the music and are offended if they’re told to shut the fuck up because people are tuning in to hear the music not their voices.
I’ve Googled Howard Stern and, having read the stuff about him, I have concluded he is no less a dick than any other radio personality. If you are a Stern fan then fair enough. Your call. We’re are all entitled to be idiots aren’t we? It’s a free western world after all!
It’s all about HIM and HIS opinions. Did he give a toss about YOU or YOUR opinions? Nope. As long as you tuned in and swallowed his crap and made him great so he could earn mega-bucks he clearly didn’t give a shit.
I’m sorry about that. Really I am. Actually he isn’t to blame either. If someone offered me mega-bucks to be a complete dick I’d rehearse for weeks to be a complete dick and take the money. Actually I wouldn’t even rehearse, it would come naturally to me 😉
As a Brit I perhaps should shy away from criticising an American dj. Seemingly an American ‘institution’ – but when did my common sense stop me eh?
Howard Stern was always a ‘dick’. The more I learn about him the more I see that in Howard Stern’s mind all that mattered was Howard Stern.
Actually he wasn’t a dick at all – he was, and quite probably still is, a very clever man. He has earned a fortune being the person he created and it was a creation millions bought into and he got rich with it. Well done mate!
As he never made even the slightest dent in Blighty perhaps I should keep my opinions to myself but, as I am writing for MMA how can I?
Who is Howard Stern?
He’s a bloke who found his niche and made mega-bucks out of it. Good luck to him but don’t think he gives a monkeys about you because he doesn’t. He just wants the money – and maybe he’s earned it, who knows, but he isn’t a hero, he’s just a man who found a way to get rich and took it.
And why not?

The best post I ever submitted to MMA was an expose’ of Cosmopolitan’s sex secrets that will drive men wild. Of course MadMike didn’t publish it and I knew we’d never be as big as Howard Stern.
I did however send MadMike a check for start up costs here at MMA for not publishing my expose’ of Cosmopolitan’s sex secrets that drive men wild that my wife and everyone else in town who believes me to be a righteous man would read.

Norman, Howard Stern is an entertainer of questionable talent. He became known as the “shock jock” for a reason. He said things and talked about things that others found distasteful or out of bounds but found his audience. Because he found an audience he got advertisers which drew money which got him paid well. This is much the same as Rush Limbaugh, whose chose ultra right wing politics for his nonsensical banter, and probably makes more than Stern. There apparently are those among us who live by listening to drivel poured out by faceless idiots like these people much like others who live vicariously through the lives of movies stars and musicians.
I wouldn’t act like Howard Stern for all the money he makes. And I do think it’s been an act. But oh well, dopes still watch him so I’ll shut up now.

Never personally liked the dude. Always thought he was was a bit whacked. But he is after all a shock jock. I must say howevet I respect his ability to make money, and lots of it.
There is something quite natural about being the individual you are. Stern is a fine example.
