How John McCain is Destroying the Republican Party

Read Time:2 Minute, 15 Second

It makes me sad when I see misguided fools who label themselves republicans carry the torch for the weak and helpless.  The fact is what made my party great, and what wins us elections is our indifference to the poor and oppressed.  John McCain is the perfect example of this misplaced idea of goodness and duty.

Of course we all feel bad for the people who were gassed in Syria, but spending our wealth to bomb those we only are pretty sure did the gassing will do us no good. A tenet of good republicanism is if it isn’t good for us then it’s really not that good.  By “us” I mean of course good loyal American republicans.

Many will argue Senator McCain, by virtue of calling for more than the limited engagement recommended by the Senate Committee on limited engagements is actually promoting bigger profits for our defense contractors.   They are doing fine and as long as we stay out of things the other countries surrounding Syria will panic and buy all their goodies anyway.  If we invade then it’s the USA that will pay for everything.

When looking at how we’ve done intervening for humanitarian reasons or other we really haven’t done that well anyway.  So it’s a good time to try doing nothing but using the rhetoric as Nixon used to say, just don’t spend any money.  Talk is cheap. We like cheap. That’s why we pay the help cheap whenever we can.  And we really don’t care who knows it since enough cheap laborers agree that to keep America great the Walton’s and McDonald’s must pay them cheap.  Once we have the socialist labor unions eliminated our country’s greatness will truly be restored.  But this can’t happen as long as bleeding heart do gooders like John McCain and his pussified right hand, Lindsay Graham, pursue a bleeding heart agenda of saving children.

It’s only a matter of time before the liberal mantra of every minority, Gay and Muslim is righteous and deserving of all the welfare and government programs they can imagine up permeates the republican party as long as deluded do gooders like McCain are around.   It’s time for the real republicans like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz to rise up and rid our party of this cancer of do goodness.  If Mitch McConnell were a real republican and American he would strip Senator McCain of all committee assignments and relegate him to an office away from capital Hill next to a smelly restroom.   By saving the republican party from the poisonous liberal ideas McCain too often espouses we also save America.

Being a ‘Brit’ I think I will say nowt…it’s safer that way eh? 😉

Actually! (oh dear he’s off again) what’s wrong with this McCain chappy supporting Obama? Obama is the Prez and seems to be a perfectly decent chap….as politicians go.

Anyways, – as I saw on the BBC news tonight – he waves a lot and failed to fall down the aeroplane steps as he saluted some soldier on his return to the USA so he obviously gets some things right eh? 😉

Another man of Ronald Reagan’s stature will appear when Obama and the democrats bring us to the brink of ruin. In a way he is our King Arthur.

Another man of Reagan’s stature? You mean a mental midget I think? St. Ronnie had real a bunch of crooked Knights sitting down at his Round Table, or should I say Round Trough.

“Round Trough.” Brilliant. Just brilliant and so very true.

Joe, I love your patriots. I hope you and they keep up your march toward what you consider greatness. This will insure that you keep losing national elections and in the next 25 years you will begin to lose state and local elections as population diversity catches up with you. Then you and your money rakers will be on the wrong end of everything.

The problems with the republican party is twofold.

1. The Pricks who run for office.

2. The Pricks who vote for them.

Apart from that . . . .

Tough times call for tough men. You may call my people “pricks” but I call them patriots who are willing to make the hard choices to save America from the abyss of depravity and debt.

Both democrats and republicans can take blame for our over-spending, not sure what you mean by “depravity” so I assume you are blaming democrats for your own personal bad habits. That’s Ok Joe, everybody’s got a “thing.”

McCain has made a career out of playing his “maverick” views. He tries to be everything to everyone. He claims to be a conservative then takes offense when someone asks why we need more war when we have trouble taking care of the war weary Veterans we have now saying “don’t lecture me about Veterans.” He’s a spend and spend liberal hiding behind the party of real Americans, from time to time voting correctly to give him cover. Joe Arpaio would be a far better senator from Arizona.

I like John McCain Joe, and think he’s a careful guy, so there must be something to his decision to support the president.
