You remember Big Gay of course.  Well it appears they should get ready to be “served,” at least if nut job extraordinaire Peter LaBarbera has his way.  Here’s the story from RightWingWatch.org:

Rick Scarborough invited Peter LaBarbera to address his Tea Party Unity group today, and the two anti-gay activists discussed ways to somehow file a “class action lawsuit” against homosexuality just like when attorneys general of many states filed a lawsuit against tobacco companies.

LaBarbera was also upset that Fox News and other outlets aren’t covering the “wonderful stories of happy men and women who have left the homosexual lifestyle,” explaining that he wished there was an ad “of the kid in high school who was counseled by the official school counselor to just be gay, then he comes down with HIV.”

LaBarbera: We need to work on our conservative, alternate media and say, ‘look, don’t do the pro-gay thing, why don’t you rather step out and support these ex-gays?’ We should encourage Fox News to tell their stories. Fox is now telling the stories of black conservatives because the other media is not doing that, we should all get on Fox and say, ‘come on, tell these stories, these wonderful stories of happy men and women who have left the homosexual lifestyle.’

Scarborough: Peter, the whole issue of a class action lawsuit, you and I have talked about this a little bit. I just wonder if you’ve explored that, talked to anyone about it. Obviously, statistically now even the Centers for Disease Control verifies that homosexuality much more likely leads to AIDS than smoking leads to cancer. And yet the entire nation has rejected smoking, billions of dollars are put into a trust fund to help cancer victims and the tobacco industry was held accountable for that. Any thoughts on that kind of an approach?

LaBarbera: Yeah I think that’s great. I would love to see it. We always wanted to see one of the kid in high school who was counseled by the official school counselor to just be gay, then he comes down with HIV. But we never really got the client for that.

Many thanks to RightWingWatch for story contributions.

Porno Pete is just upset he can’t have all the menz to himself and who is he waiting for to bring his evidence, a high school guy with AIDS dirty fucking pervert. I’m wondering how in the hell are they going to file suit against something so abstract as a person’s sexuality. Hubby said, it would be good to bluff them, so you could get all kinds of things out of the discovery phase of a lawsuit. He went more into it, but my eyes roll back into my brain to keep it company when he starts in with legalese. These are the guys that supposedly hate frivolous lawsuits but when they want the courts as an assist it’s all good.

Oh and go St Louis Cardinals. yeah I said it Mike.

How about a class action suit to force the media to produce stories about the happy people that have been freed from the black yoke of religion by the clear light of truth and rational thinking?

Religion has fomented more wars, discrimination, hate, and judgmental, unforgiving thinking than any other cause in history.

We should be celebrating those fortunate people who have cast off the shackles of childhood brainwashing and the relentless repetition of religion’s lies.

What a scary thought. That would mean we have no free will in the matter.
