ObamaCare’s Individual Mandate is Mark of the Beast

Read Time:1 Minute, 8 Second

A fan of Bryan Fischer’s radio program called in today and suggested that ObamaCare’s individual mandate was really a Mark of the Beast.  Fischer, of course, enthusiastically agreed, saying that we had already gone pretty far down that road before ObamaCare was even passed.

Recently, many claim that the implant of medical or financial electronic ID chips are the mark of the beast. Others point to credit or debit cards. While those items may be an indication of what is to come, Bible scholars agree that the mark of the beast will be a recognizable sign of those who have voluntarily chosen to follow the Antichrist.

Fisher pointed to a case out of Louisiana where the state board of funeral directors unsuccessfully sought to prevent a local monastery from selling caskets without a funeral director’s license, Fischer said that government licensing requirements were actually the Mark of the Beast.

“Well what is that?” Fischer asked. “That’s the Mark of the Beast. You can’t buy, you can’t sell without permission from the Beast, without permission from the government. So anytime you’ve got the government involved in deciding who gets to engage in commerce and who doesn’t and they can’t engage in commerce unless they get some kind of official permission from the government, that’s the Mark of the Beast”:

As wacked out republican as I am even I can say without hesitation these people who see the “beast” in everything are batshit crazy.

I just have to figure out how to get them to read my articles telling them the crap they want to hear so MadMike and I can make some money off them.

You listening Mike? Time to make me the featured author so we can exploit these kooks. Even kooks have credit cards.

I always wonder about these types of people. They’ve probably went their whole entire lives thinking things similar to this out of reflex or instinct or whatever strange upbringing they had, and they’re probably going to be that way until they die.

And the oddest thing is, I don’t think these types of people actually read the Bible, or at least the bits of the New Testament where a skinny brown dirt-poor hippie asked people to not be assholes to each other, but who does that anymore, really?

You know, let Texas secede (warn all of your Texas friends first), and then just move all of the Christian loonies to Texas and let them set up their entire country based on someone’s interpretation of the Bible. Let them fight amongst themselves about which interpretation to use, and which laws they are allowed to throw out, the dietary laws listed in Leviticus, but certainly not the law (equally in Leviticus) that a man cannot sleep with another man. And I wonder what laws they will have about men and women and what men are allowed to do to women, and what parents are allowed to do to their children! And they can all read _The Handmaid’s Tale_ to get ideas. And then they can leave us the hell alone!

When you’re delusional wacko, anything can mean whatever you want it to mean.

I have a friend here whose license plate is WHA 666. Every time I look at it I laugh. Even better, he’s a Delegado (chief) of the Policia Civil here. That’s like chief of detectives in his assigned area.

I wonder if his plate strikes fear into the criminals?

The ACA also provides for mental health care as well, yes? I’m just hoping these people can get help for their pre-existing mental instability.
