Why Did Pope Francis Fire the Bankers?

Read Time:1 Minute, 25 Second

ITALY-WEATHER/

In another slap to the face of job creators, Pope Francis has just fired a bunch of bankers.  The five Cardinals he fired were fired just eleven months into their terms running the scandal plagued Vatican bank.

This of course is no way to treat bankers. We on the right understand that bankers have an enormous responsibility sifting through the intricacies of the banking system to ensure the wealthy, who of course support the world through their generosity as Ronald Reagan taught us,  make lots of money.   Indeed the central role of the banking system is to make the rich richer.

Income, after all, is redistributed through a rich person’s opening of a Casey’s General Store or Kum and Go to provide jobs for those who are not job creators but moochers who at least have the decency to work a little bit rather than depending on government for all their living needs.

Perhaps the worst thing coming out of this tragic and unjust firing of bankers, particularly when they’re also Cardinals, is two of the new ones appointed by Pope Francis  are Christopher Collins of Canada and Christoph Schoenborn of Vienna.  Two guys from socialist countries. Next thing you know the Pope will demand the bank give loans to poor people at competitive interests rates and terms.

It’s bad enough Pope Francis insulted the wealthy benefactors whom the world depends on for it’s needs when he demanded they pay their fair share of taxes and do more to lift the poor from poverty, now this. Firing bankers and hiring socialists who buy in to all that help the poor nonsense.  What kind of church is this?  I don’t even know it anymore.

You’re sooooooo right, Joe. Next thing we know, the Pope will be expecting people to follow the teachings of Jesus, and he’ll lead by example.

That’s right Shaw. We all know The Bible is to be taken literally except that passage about it being harder for a rich person to go to Heaven than a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. The Pope needs to stick with teachings that help job creators create jobs.

Oh no! Not the teachings of Jeebus. Hasn’t the world suffered enough at the hands of Jeebus?
