I’ve never been a big fan of Roseanne Barr and I avoid exposure to the woman at every opportunity.  When I came across this story, however, I knew I had to share it.

It seems George Zimmerman’s parents are taking Roseanne Barr to court, accusing her of trying to get “a lynch mob” to their home by tweeting their address weeks after their son shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Barr soon deleted the tweet but later tweeted “If Zimmerman isn’t arrested I’ll rt his address again—maybe go 2 his house myself,” reports USA Today. Robert and Gladys Zimmerman, who are seeking unspecified damages, say the tweets forced them to go into hiding, even though George hadn’t lived with them for years.

Barr, however, tweeted the address on March 29, 2012, and the couple told the Orlando Sentinel on March 15 that they had already gone into hiding after receiving death threats, the paper notes.

Their son, meanwhile, released an interview yesterday in which he denies being racist and says he is trying to be a good person, the AP reports. He says the interview is an attempt to “show America who I truly am” and speaks of someday becoming a defense attorney or civil rights lawyer. ”

On a grand scale, I would like to make enough of an impact on the judicial system so that what happens to me never happens to anybody,” he says.

Well I don’t care for Roseanne either but I care even less for Zimmerman. He is a walking catastrophe and has been ever since he burst onto the news scene. I don’t like him, I don’t like her and I really wish that the news media would stop covering them both.
I don’t know who ever told Barr she could act or was funny but they should be shot.
Zimmerman will likely end up being shot or shooting someone else if someone does not beat some sense into his head, or perhaps if the media would just stop covering every damn thing he does like it is important to the rest of the world.

I hate to say it, Mike, but this article is bordering on racist.

How in the hell can you say the article is racist? Perhaps Roseanne is racist, or Zimmerman is racist, but nothing about the article is racist dodo. It is a straight forward reporting of what some people were doing and stating.

One wonders if Barr will use a “stand your ground” defense.

Roseanne Barr, Al Sharpton — the panorama of all these old time Quixotic crusaders is like watching a worn out old circus with mangy dancing bears and threadbare clowns pretending to have some meaning any more — some relevance to a liberal cause while agitating for Kangaroo courts, witch hunts, lynch mobs and vigilante committees. The facts are as irrelevant to them as they are to some dyed in the wool Fox follower.

There’s something about cases like this that bring out the worst in everyone. For Roseanne Barr, the worst is so much like her best that it doesn’t take much does it?
