Atheist Sues NJ After License Plate Rejection

Unfortunately for the sane among us, the country is a long way from a secular, clear thinking government.  The worshipers of Jesus and his daddy continue to deny those of us who don’t believe our First Amendment rights, while embracing the bizarre tenets of the Second Amendment.

(Newser) New Jersey has a free-speech lawsuit on its hands after a woman’s attempt to score an atheist license plate got rejected, reports NJ.com. Shannon Morgan says it was bad enough when she typed in 8THEIST on the state website and learned that it was deemed objectionable. But when she typed in BAPTIST and was allowed to proceed, she decided to lawyer up. The state is showing a clear preference for “theistic beliefs over non-theistic ones,” says her lawsuit.

“This license plate issue may seem like a small matter but it is indicative of a much larger problem—atheists are often treated by the government as second-class citizens,” says her attorney. This is the state’s second high-profile fight over an atheist plate in a year, notes Philly.com. Last summer, the president of the group American Atheists successfully appealed New Jersey’s rejection of his ATHE1ST plate. (The case should provide some talking points at this weekend’s convention in Salt Lake City.)

Atheists should be arrested and put into camps until the end of days when Jesus shall come down on a chariot and embrace those of us who embrace him. The rest will go straight to hell on the head of a fiery arrow to suffer forever in eternal damnation.

Nice, typical reply from a babble bashing moron. Threats and hate. If you religious wackos had anything rational to offer, you would not instantly resort to threats and hate.

How would you feel if we said all jesus jumpers should be rounded up into concentration camps and left to starve? You’d be screaming persecution and demanding our heads. What hypocrites you are.

What is really interesting is that religious people are always the ones wailing about being under attack when, in fact, it is they who are doing the attacking.

The religious always cry “Persecution!” whenever they are prevented from persecuting others. It’s predictable, petty, and pathetic.

I wonder what they’d say to AGN0 5T1C ?

You can guess what I am going to say. As always, when the religious reich is imposing it’s beliefs upon others, nothing is too illegal, stupid, or absurd for them.
