DOE Report: Sex Crimes in College Up 50%

Read Time:50 Second

Sexual assaults on college campuses are making the news more often these days and that’s because they are happening more often.  At least that’s what the Department of Education thinks.

A new Department of Education report has found that reports of “forcible” campus sexual assaults shot up 50% between 2001 and 2011, jumping from 2,200 to 3,300, Time reports. At the same time, every other category of college crime decreased. The numbers mean that 2.2 out of every 10,000 college students in 2011 reported an assault,Business Insider points out.

The spike doesn’t necessarily mean that more assaults are occurring but it might just mean that victims have become more comfortable coming forward. “It’s a good thing that more victims are reporting,” one advocate told NPR in response to a similar finding in April. “For far too long, they’ve been left on their own. And now they’re getting the help they need.”

Give all women a free .44 Magnum with ammunition.

I reckon that’ll work. Let’s face it, a dead rapist ain’t going to rape anyone else eh?

Pshaw says I, just the wimmin folk whining and griping about how they have it so very very bad. George Will has said “”sexual assault” is just liberalism run amok” and it is a “coveted status that confers special privileges.” Also too, before they changed the title WaPo had an article headlined as “One way to end violence against women? Stop taking lovers and get married” But there is not a war on women people, it’s all made up so we can get our whine on since we have it so good.
This is an excerpt from that pile of crap and below that, Will’s steaming pile.
“This social media outpouring makes it clear that some men pose a real threat to the physical and psychic welfare of women and girls. But obscured in the public conversation about the violence against women is the fact that some other men are more likely to protect women, directly and indirectly, from the threat of male violence: married biological fathers.”
Maybe all us women need is to start going out with married bio dads, even if we are not married to them, for protection.
