GOP Candidate Advocates Stoning Gay People to Death

Read Time:36 Second

Scott Esk, a Republican candidate for Oklahoma’s state house of representatives advocated stoning gay people to death in a Facebook post.  He went on to say that such a plan is “totally just” because he has “some very huge moral misgivings about those kinds of sins.”

The candidate responded to a Facebook commenter who asked if “we should execute homosexuals (presumably by stoning)” by arguing that gay people are indeed “worthy of death.”

Another Republican candidate for State House, Gordon Klingenschmitt of Colorado, has also said that “homosexual acts are worthy of death.”

Now that the science has demonstrated that the most vitriolic homophobes are actually closeted gays – I interpret this guy’s comments as him flagrantly leaping out of the closet himself…ta da!

Normally, I don’t mind being stoned, but not if this guy’s my dealer…

Okay, this is just sick and inexcusable! How anyone could vote for this, much less a majority of any group is totally beyond me. Yes, the fact that I’m anti-death penalty to start with may have something to do with my opinion, but really not. How can this person, Scott Esk, claim to represent the people in an entire state district when he doesn’t represent life itself? Shiver!

I wonder if they also advocate stoning to death women who are not virgins when they marry or disrespectful children?

I also notice the seem to have both eyes and both hands. Does that mean neither has ever offended them or that they have never done anything sinful with either?

I don’t thinik they are even cafeteria christians but are simply pandering to those who are. That, to me, is even more disgusting.
