Watch and Listen to A Drunk Sarah Palin Give a Speech in Denver

Check out this video of Sarah Palin’s speech on Saturday to the Western Conservative Summit in Denver. As a drinking man, and one who has been around lot’s of drinking men, and women, I can pretty much guarantee that it sounds like The Palin has had a few too many. Judge for yourself:
If you can manage to make it all the way to the 8:03 mark, it’s worth it just to hear her rant about how God doesn’t drive parked cars. She starts her ramble at the 3:50 mark and it won’t take you long to notice that there were “pink Obamas dancing across her teleprompter during the affair.”
In closing I have to say: Thanks, John McCain, for imperiling the nation with your astonishing lack of judgment.

What do you think was the cause of her inability to string a sentence together without slurring her words or losing her train of thought Greg?
In the words of Albert Einstein, “Never attribute evil intent to that which can be accounted for by simple stupidity.”
I think the last two words of that quote sums up Sarah Palin very accurately and concisely.
mike…it just occurred to me that, and maybe i’m generalizing too much, but as a police officer you probably have experience far greater than most of us when it comes to identifying those who are impaired by substance abuse. that, to me, suddenly takes this discussion to another level. sarah palin has long been the butt of jokes for those of us who listen to her and ascribe, as james suggests, just plain old stupidity to her…now i wonder if she might have a real problem with drug or alcohol abuse.
if this is just making fun of her stupidity, that’s fair game…there’s plenty of that to make fun of…but if you really think she’s drugged or drunked out, could you talk a little more about that?
I’ve dealt with a lot of drunks in my day Penny, friends included, and I can guarantee she’s impaired. We assume alcohol but it could well be drugs, or both. As to making fun, I think that happens because rational thinking people viscerally dislike her, and any excuse to diminish her standing is readily embraced. If she is, in fact, dependent or suffering from some form of addiction, it’s up to her and her family to see treatment. Sooner or later she will make a bigger fool of herself and that will be even more painful to her and her long-suffering family.
i tried to watch it all, i really did. it was like watching a fatal car crash in slow motion….at some point you just have to look away and pray.
i remember when rush Limbaugh was a phenomenon…my older brother became a fan. i’d heard him talk a couple of times surfing the radio at night….he seemed like any other babbling blowhard to me, but…brother liked him so i thought i’d take a closer look.
i caught his tv show, one of the few as it turned out, but i caught in on a night in which he referred to chelsea clinton as the ugliest child to inhabit the white house since amy carter. my jaw dropped at the sheer ugliness of that statement, but it got worse…the camera panned out over the audience and showed us all those nice, clean, middle class looking people out there laughing and applauding as if they hadn’t just heard one of the ugliest jokes ever.
i get kind of the same feeling when i listen to sarah palin…just, ugly…i need a shower.
I am not sure either. She sounds just as stupid as she ever did. If she has not been drinking she might want to try a few.
I can’t be sure. She didn’t sound any more drunk, stupid, or crazy that she always does. I do have to admit she is the last two of them all the time.
You can see the problem separating those three conditions. They often mimic each other.

Her fervor, and her interpretation of laws, the Constitution, and the overall population, are truly SCARY!
