The Disturbing Islamification Of The United Kingdom

Read Time:5 Minute, 3 Second

The following is taken from Wikipedia :

Sharia patrols, also referred to as Muslim patrols or Modesty patrols, involving a group or several groups of young radical Muslim men, members of an organisation self-named the Shariah Project, have patrolled streets in East London since at least early 2013. Early that year, videos of their activities, filmed by members of the patrol, were uploaded online: these showed hooded members of the patrol confronting passers-by and demanding that they conform to Sharia law. They targeted prostitutes, people drinking alcohol, couples who were holding hands, women whom they considered to be dressed immodestly, and harassed others whom they perceived as being gay. Five men were arrested in January 2013 as part of an investigation into the gang, and three were given jail sentences on 6 December 2013.

'It is only a matter of time before another atrocity – the West is the enemy,' Abu Muaz, 28, from east London, said.
‘It is only a matter of time before another atrocity – the West is the enemy,’ Abu Muaz, 28, from east London, said.

Now, this all happened a year or so back but, if you think it isn’t happening today then think again. When Muslim’s say “We just want to be left alone to get on with our lives in Britain” many are merely stating the obvious. Of course they want to be left alone to live their lives quietly and peacefully. Unfortunately for them, a number of their brethren seem determined to enforce ‘the Islamic way’ on the part of the country they happen to live in.

If the Muslims who want to live a quiet life and just ‘get on with it’ in Britain really believe they can do so then they have to also accept that they have to start speaking up very loudly and regularly in the British media condemning their fellow Muslim’s who are behaving in this way. Failure to do so will only continue to fan the flames of increasing resentment against Muslim’s in Britain.

My daughter attended Queen Mary University in East London. The university is near Mile End Station on the Mile End Road very close to the East London Mosque. In her first year she was ‘on campus’ in rooms. In her second and third years she was ‘off campus’ sharing a house and then a flat (apartment). Fortunately she was ‘the right side’ of the East London Mosque so had a generally uneventful daily walk to her Uni.

Some of her pals were further down the Mile End Road in rented accommodation nearer the East London Mosque. my daughter told me that frequently her friends – mainly female – would be spat at by Muslim men on their way to Uni and verbally abused – often being called “white whores” and so forth.

Now my daughter has been born into and grown up in a racially diverse society. Not a society I nor many my age wanted to exist but one that does regardless. We ‘older Brits’ just have to live with it. I myself, having moved to London as a young man, have friends of all races, creeds and colours so my views on this are not nearly as strong as can be found in my home in the north of England.

If it was purely MY opinion then, perhaps, a healthy scepticism would be required as MY views are the views of an older person less tolerant of his country becoming what it is becoming. More tolerant I suspect than many fellow northerners who have not had my experiences in London but, never the less, I accept that, at my age, my views are often ‘coloured’ with prejudices not shared by younger people such as my daughter and her friends.

If I said “That Muslim man insulted / spat at / verbally abused that young white girl” then it is quite possible that some would say “Oh Norman’s just being racist or Islamophobic” and leave it at that.  They would be wrong as I wouldn’t make such a statement if it was untrue but I realise that, at my age, there are more racists and so forth so that statement by me would be treated with a degree of suspicion by some.

There are many, many young people who attended Queen Mary University in East London who would make the same statement. They either know of a friend who has suffered this behaviour or they have suffered it themselves. They are young people. The future. They, generally, have not developed prejudices as yet. Certainly not to the extent that old farts like me have.

‘Sharia patrols’ in East London, young vulnerable white girls groomed for sex in Rochdale and Rotherham by Muslim men. ‘Hate Preachers’ living on British state benefits demanding Sharia law in Britain. Most recently more vulnerable white girls used and abused by men of Pakistani origin or descent around Manchester. Descent of course, means they were born here as British citizens yet they still behave like this??

The above isn’t taken from an article in The Daily Mail. It is not the ramblings of some right wing lunatic. It is a very worrying fact of life in certain parts of Britain today.

I asked a Muslim friend what he thought of the above. His response was to shrug. “There’s good and bad in everyone” he said – defensively in my opinion for what it is worth. There is indeed good and bad in everyone. Good and bad in every walk of life. Good and bad in every faith. Good and bad inside every one of us come to that.

This is Britain my friend. This is England. Muslim’s must learn that and quickly. Our patience is wearing thin. If you want to remain welcome here then you need to start giving us a reason to make you welcome and, to date, you aren’t. Speak out loudly against those of your faith who are bastardising your faith and making it into something terrible and something that needs to be destroyed. Speak out loudly before we start to wonder whether you are complicit.

Your call. Make it soon eh?

So do you also expect (insert group here) to come out and denounce (insert act and group here) for whatever rules they have broken. I can understand the anger towards extremists because I dislike them also, but you cannot paint with such a broad brush if you are not willing to have every white man say sorry for all the white serial killers or every single Catholic for all the priests kiddy diddling when it isn’t ALL of them, it’s a buncha idiots running around with extreme views for the most part doing this.

Very valid point Jess – OH! STOP BEING SO BLOODY RIGHT WILL YOU?? 😉

I think, as much as anything, we don’t generally feel threatened in our beds by serial killer’s or Catholic priests but we do feel threatened in our beds by Islamic extremists.

Personally I vocally condemned Blair for his illegal war in Iraq. That young Pakistani girl, Malala, condemns Islamic extremism (well, I know she got shot in the head for her trouble but there you go).

Sometimes we have to ‘make a stand’ and, Muslim’s in general do need to make a stand. I mean they aren’t daft are they?

I’m assuming they want to live peacefully and quietly without excessive hassle so, speak up and publicly state that Islamic extremists aren’t part of your faith. Is it really that hard to do?

Is it fear or silent complicity? I have no idea. Only they can say.

They are monsters. I feel for you and your children but also believe that the police are well suited to taking down monsters.

er…..quite

I admit to anger of this sort occasionally myself but, Polly, whilst it is understandable we do have to remember that the extreme Muslims are still a minority of that faith – albeit an alarmingly large minority.

It is the ‘silent majority’ of Muslim’s who really do need to start speaking out against this behaviour. Being human we do tend to ‘tar with the same brush’ any and all we suspect and, increasingly, this will happen if they remain silent I think.

Mike I don’t think Americans would take kindly to this kind of Republic threatening rhetoric. These Islamist killers could count on meeting their 72 virgins a lot sooner than they planned if they comes here and start killing innocent people.

Well, it is if you happen to live in the East End or anywhere in Britain with a high population of Muslim’s. Most of the time you wouldn’t have a problem but then again…..
