American Family Crazies: Obama’s Muslim Faith Buried in SOTU Code

Well, it’s as the uber-religious Bible Bangers thought: Obama, the anti-Christ, is also a secret Muslim. That’s right! A secret Muslim, and they know that because he used secret Muslim code during his State of the Union address.
All of this by way of the infamous American Family Association’s Sandy Rios, a complete donkey in an organization that is thick with crazies. She has long since enjoyed promoting bizarre conspiracy theories to imply that President Obama is a secret Muslim, and today she even managed to find what she claims as absolute proof of Obama’s hidden faith in his State of the Union address.
Yesterday morning, on Rios’ radio program, a listener called in to complain that Obama said he met the country’s “newest officers at West Point, Annapolis, Colorado Springs, and New London,” which the listener claimed was a lie because “Fort Collins is the Air Force Academy, not Colorado Springs.”
In point of fact, the caller is incorrect, as the Air Force Academy is indeed located just outside of Colorado Springs.
Although Rios didn’t pick up on the caller’s mistake, she did take this opportunity to claim President Obama was spreading Muslim messages in his speech when he used the word “pillar” to describe the foundations of American leadership in the world: “The other thing he said that I caught, he has done this before, you know there are five pillars of Islam, and he used the term ‘pillars’ again in his speech last night.”
“It is just really interesting, language can actually give us some insight, choices of words,” she said. What a nutter! Who ever knew that the anti-Christ was a Muslim anyway?

I know several pillars of the community along with a couple of pillars of wisdom I often seek advice from….just call me Mo eh?
In a way, it’s reassuring to have demonstrated again that there is no limit to the level of stupidity, ignorance, and sheer insanity of the religious reich.
It is disturbing that these nutters are not only permitted to go outside without a keeper but can actually vote and, even worse, operate machinery.
