Only in America will guns kill more young people than cars. How is that even possible? The NRA made it possible, along with their brainwashed followers, who actually believe the gun lobby’s propaganda. You see they have convinced the weak that criminals are around every corner, and that they are about to attack, murder, and rape your entire family. The odds of that are higher than the odds of being struck by lightning, or winning the MegaMillions lottery, twice.
(TheWeek) A new report using data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that guns may kill more young Americans than car accidents in 2015. Car accidents are currently the top killer of young people in America.
But car fatalities for young people have declined in recent years, while deadly shootings have not. The Center for American Progress believes that fatal shootings could become more prevalent than fatal car accidents as soon as this year.
The Center for American Progress estimates that 6,040 people ages 15 to 24 will die from gunshot wounds in 2015, Vice reports. Meanwhile, the Center for American Progress expects 5,864 Americans of the same age will die from car accidents.
