Duck Dynasty Star Gleefully Offers Gruesome Atheist Rape, Murder Fantasy

Read Time:1 Minute, 45 Second

The Christians hoot and holler when a little bit of cleavage appears on local TV.  They screech with outrage at the very idea of gay marriage, and abortion brings about a caterwauling that can be heard for miles.

The idea of torture, mayhem and murder however, becomes a source of amusement, at least as related by the bearded pomposity made popular by millions of rednecks and salivating conservatives.

From RightWingWatch:

On Friday, “Trunews” host Rick Wiles aired a speech that Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty delivered at the Vero Beach Prayer Breakfast earlier that day, in which Robertson offered gruesome details about how an atheist father would react to watching intruders behead his wife and rape and kill his two daughters while they also cut off his penis …. which would supposedly somehow prove a point about following God’s laws.

“I’ll make a bet with you,” Robertson said. “Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him. And then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now is it dude?’”

Robertson kept going: “Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if this [sic] was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’”

“If it happened to them,” Robertson continued, “they probably would say, ‘something about this just ain’t right.”

I know Glenn has already said but it needs to be said again. Neither the God worshipers nor Christians invented right and wrong and it is difficult to fathom their arrogance in imaging that they believe it is so. For more proof all they need to do is look at the animal kingdom. Animals kill for food, for self defense, and, if necessary, to establish a hierarchy. Humans kill for fun and sport, or for no good reason at all. Humans like to think that they are the advanced species on this planet but they are not. Animals are not letting religion drive them to annihilate entire populations because they believe that some invisible entity wants them to do it.

Of course Religion is just another word for dishonesty, in my book, but this pervert takes it well into the realm of insanity. But when you think about it, they’ve lost every argument about the value of what they’re selling so they’ve had to fall back on that old lie that religion is the source, and the sole source, of knowing what’s right and what’s wrong. (Even though we’re all damned for acquiring that knowledge)

Even if it were true the law codes and the body legal decisions of the ancient Sumerians were already ancient before Abraham learned to tie his sandals. Christianity as a source of law simply isn’t and the Mosaic law is mostly about not doing everything Christians regularly do. Rape and Murder don’t need the Duck Schmuck or the Pope or any Gospel to tell us they’re wrong. The first people to write wrote down law codes, many of which were more humane than those of later Semites like Hammurabi or Moses.

Christianists for all their self adulation are not into human values, human kindness and even less into free will, free choice, free speech or free anything and Jefferson, inter alia was right in identifying it with tyranny.

It’s far uglier when coming from the ignorant, unwashed, uncivilized and well armed barbarians and sadly, even while the old guard in Rome flirts with enlightenment, depraved sexual perverts and money hungry megalomaniacs dominate religion in America.

So if you don’t have a magician in the sky telling you what’s wrong and right, you obviously can’t figure it out for yourself! Somehow, it seems to me that if you are behaving any humane way only because of the threat of hell, there’s something wrong with YOU, not an atheist!
