Idaho Huntress Says Giraffes Are Dangerous Animals-Brags About Kills on Today Show
A woman from Idaho admits to deriving a great deal of pleasure from murdering innocent animals, including helpless giraffes, has added her two cents to recent stories about Americans accused of hunting illegally in Africa. She has attracted her share of well deserved outrage in return, the Telegraph reports.
On July 25, Sabrina Corgatelli responded to the story of Cecil the lion’s death by posting photos on Facebook with her kills and glowing, exclamation-point-filled messages about the thrill of the hunt. Among her posts:
- With a large kudu, a sort of antelope: “Got my beautiful beautiful Kudu!! It was my #1 want on my list and I got him on the first day!!! Loving it there!!”
- With the corpse of what she calls “an amazing old giraffe”: “Such an amazing animal!! I couldn’t be any happier!! My emotion after getting him was a feeling I will never forget!!!”
- “To all the haters, stay tuned, you’re gonna have so much more to be p***ed about.”
On Today, Corgatelli rejects the notion that hunters are “cold-hearted killers,” but says charges against Cecil-killer Walter Palmer are “something to consider.” Yet she maintains that hunters are “at the discretion of the guide” while hunting abroad: “So to start charging foreign people under crimes like this … I think would be a very slippery slope,” she says. Corgatelli, perhaps by way of some twisted form of defense, claimed that giraffes are very dangerous animals.
Her profile has attracted thousands of likes, and of course thousands of angry comments—like, “That is SICK. I really hope that in this case, karma is real and it’ll come your way you imbecile c**t.” Some are revealing where she works (she’s a university accountant who runs the Racks and Ridges clothing company), possibly in an attempt to influence her employer.

This type of a “hobby” is long long overdue to disappear. It is simply not viable or acceptable any longer. And the best way is through social media, boycotts, and news blogs. Attack them through their jobs and public sentiment with no let-up. They defend themselves by saying it’s legal. Many things are legal that are immoral. Has nothing to do with it. We have to bring these people out in the public eye and make the “hunter” know what it’s like to be “hunted”. See if they enjoy it.
Agreed!
People who have to kill living things to feel good are sick and need therapy (or a swift kick in the ass).
I like the ‘swift kick in the ass’ myself 🙂
Actually, I would like to tie her down and watch a gorilla ass rape her.
What, you hate gorillas?
Although I do agree with all of the above, I also agree with her that her employer has no grounds to punish or fire her because of her disgusting hobby. Nothing she did was illegal or had any effect on her job. Should it be illegal? Now are getting into a whole different issues: where does the government for Judiciary have jurisdiction? And when we get into fine details of every broad action or category of actions, that’s when the laws in 2000 pages long! What you want and I both consider despicable is hard to spell out and justify to everyone’s liking!
That being said, she really is a monster! I won’t say what possible harm Canada draft due to her, because I know there is a lot, but the harm the draft CAN do her is unrelated to the danger posed by a giraffe when it’s not being harassed!
A consummate, arrogant ass. Hope her rifle blows up in her face.
She is truly a monstrous human being.
She is bitch who wishes she had a penis. Giraffes harm no one that does not bother them. A KUDU, lady you are f**king crazy if you call that dangerous. You are just evil.
I couldn’t agree more. This New Jersey Housewife clone is a despicable piece of work.
