British Home Secretary Speaks For The People

Read Time:2 Minute, 38 Second

Theresa May is a powerful politician. She is The Home Secretary which makes her responsible for the laws and justice and so forth in Britain. Being a senior government figure it is usually expected of her, like other senior political figures, that what ever she says will have little, if any, bearing on ordinary people and will, generally, be nothing more than political platitudes and bullshit as seems to be the wont of most politicians.

To hear such a senior government figure echo the sentiments of a huge and, in my opinion, significant majority of the British people is quite extraordinary.

You just know she’s hit ‘pay dirt’ when Britain’s left start berating her for being racist and so forth.

Theresa May stepped out onto the stage of the Conservative Party conference dressed like she was about to appear in the next Star Trek movie in a dress that Lieutenant Uhura wouldn’t have minded wearing but it wasn’t her attire that made people sit up it was what she said.

“There is no case, in the national interest, for immigration on the scale we have experienced over the past decade” was just a taster.

“Not in a thousand years!” she exclaimed to the European Union who wish to impose quotas for accepting refugees currently arriving by the boat load in Europe – well, always assuming their boat wasn’t one of the ones that sank.

She then promised a crack down on bogus refugees and chastised big business for allowing the massive influx of immigrants to push down wages in order to further profits.

She also made clear that creating and maintaining a ‘cohesive’ society was impossible as long as mass immigration continues.

Wow! What a lady! How many politicians would have the balls to say this? Well, in fairness, Theresa May hasn’t the balls clearly, but has that lady got guts or what?

Less than a decade ago it would have been political suicide to ‘speak the truth’ as a senior politician simply because our ‘liberal elite’ would have vilified her as, indeed, they are trying to do but the British people know the truth and they know that what Theresa May said is the truth.

I have little time for politicians in general of any political party but I have to say, this lady is currently high on my personal list of people worth listening to.

The only question remaining now is this. Can she really turn things around and, more to the point, turn immigrants around and send them packing if they have no skills that we need?

Prime Minister Cameron supported her rhetoric – I’m unsure he had a lot of choice really – but he now knows this. If he cannot get the European Union to accept the changes that are required to keep Britain a member he would have no option but to support Britain leaving the EU.

Either the EU accept ‘free movement’ of its citizens no longer applies if they are coming to Britain or we’re out.

Well done and well said Theresa May.

A politician who actually speaks for the people for a change.

Lieutenant Uhura is better looking mind you.
