I agree with Rachel. On the other hand I understand Putin’s problem. While he does seem to be butting in on Syria he is actually trying to keep the wolves from his door step. We must remember that Russia has had its problems with terrorists also and likely would be on the menu for ISIS if they continued to take over Syria. Russia’s best hope would be to keep their choice of President in power in Syria to assure him that the radicals stay away from Russia. He also does not want someone friendly with the West to come into power right on his door step either. Just as we would not like to have Canada becoming too chummy with Russia, they are not crazy about bordering countries being to friendly with us or NATO.
I found Steve Croft, a man I’ve liked over the years, to be desperate and arrogant. The president did a great job putting him in his place.
