The Young Turks Reveal Fox News’ New Slogan: “We’ll Get you Killed”

The Young Turks Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola criticized Fox News during Wednesday’s show for Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s segment on how kids can disarm an active shooter. “We’ve gotten so sick as a society that Fox News is bringing in kids to teach kids how to disarm active shooters,” Uygur says, “first of all, the fact that we have a term called ‘active shooter’ that we hear almost every other day is sick, in and of itself.” Uygur and Iadarola make the case that confronting a shooter is never the answer.

The nutters at Fox News are teaching children to confront active shooters. Would you confront this guy?

“Don’t involve the kids. Don’t teach the kids to go and run towards an active shooter. They’ll think that they can do it,” Uygur adds. Iadarola explains that the krav maga practitioners aren’t teaching the kids to engage but advise them to run.
