There’s something worse on every corner and it’s been going on for a very long time. It doesn’t bother these people that predictions like Alex Jones’ about the invasion of Texas, the Death camps in the desert, the pan American highway and the rest of the never ending stream of silly scenarios never ever come true. Many are recycled from things thrown at Bill Clinton and indeed some of it was directed at Eisenhower. There’s a national need to believe in hidden enemies and conspiracies and it transcends any test of truth.

So much is based on the books of W. Cleon Skousen, who told us president Eiwenhower was a communist agent, and that the government has no constitutional right to impose taxes or to own land or to do much of anything. His articles are rabidly anti-Semitic and racist.

It’s influenced the Tea Party and these Cliven Bundy disciples and Ron Reagan and even Ben Carson have expressed admiration. His writings, his special annotated version of the Constitution is printed in the millions and combined with the radical Mormon leaders who don’t believe in the Federal government either — we have something so frighteningly like the Bolsheviks is’s astonishing that it isn’t talked about in the media at all.

I think these people are the biggest threat to the Union since the secessionists of 1862.
