Hold Off on Hillary’s Coronation

There’s a reason the political “experts” never tell us what’s going to happen without multiple caveats to protect them when they’re wrong; which is most of the time. The times they are correct it’s more luck than insight or intellectual talent.   Sadly what these so-called experts fail to consider is the real strength of the republican party, the base of zealots and bigots and ignorant who by all accounts should be voting Democrat since it’s the party that aligns with 99% of their real interests and well being, but they vote republican. And this time they’re voting for Donald Trump.  

What is just as worrisome for poor Hillary is there are so many disaffected Democrats that remained loyal through the years but are giving up on it because frankly the party has failed them. These folks are upset that Democrats in Congress didn’t lay down the law to republicans after President Obama was elected in 2008.  They’re mad that big business does whatever it pleases with no repercussions even though we have a democrat president and attorney general.  To be frank they’re pissed at Dems for not being pricks to republicans like republicans are to Democrats.

The general election is 95% certain to be Donald vs. Hillary.  The email scandal is, in reality, just a political ploy. Same stuff was happening during Bush’s administration. But it’s okay when republicans do it (Another reason I became a republican). And all these disaffected Democrats are simply worn out from years of an entitled Hillary and will be voting for Donald Trump.

Integrity won’t matter in this race as neither of them suffers from a devotion to it. And face it, we as a whole don’t give a rats ass about integrity if we think we’re getting what we want. Kind of ironic when our first President couldn’t tell a lie. But we fixed that silliness after Abe Lincoln who was the only one who’s nickname was “Honest.”  

What does matter are safe and secure jobs or at least the hope that there is such a thing.  As I pointed out in my last post, Donald Trump is, or at least portrays himself as a protectionist. Hillary’s husband Bill gave us NAFTA.  Get real Lefty. I don’t remember Bill or Hillary doing anything to strengthen trade unions which are the only things that ever did anything to raise the standard of living for Working Americans but I sure as hell know plenty of Working Americans that would love somebody to do something to help keep their jobs secure and here in America.

The order of importance is God, country, family. Mexicans are pretty far down the line after the top three.  And we all love the bogeymen that republicans have used to scare people into voting for them as well. Scary black guys and Muslims wanting to murder and behead us.  And the people scared by the bogeyman will vote for Trump.

I have bad news for Hillary Clinton: her coronation as our first woman president wasn’t just delayed by the election of Barack Obama. It will be permanently cancelled with the election of Donald Trump this year. But Donald has enough people convinced he lies to make America great again. They believe you lie only to become President.
