Why can’t they just have people with at least Masters degrees in some kind of history be in charge of the history curriculum? People with at least Masters degrees in some kind of science have input into the science curricula? Have people with knowledge of math and statistics do them? And hey, what about people with actual knowledge about language be in charge of the language curricula? Then anyone who wants to say anything about religion goes to CHURCH and says whatever the preacher or Rabbi or Imam allows!
Education is supposed to be all about knowledge! It’s not supposed to be anything about opinions! Scientists generally agree about evolution? Leave creationism to religious school! Historians – those web actually studied history – actually believe that Jefferson had a positive input in the creation of the United States? Teach that! The overall belief is that slavery in the US was bad and derogatory to the community overall? They historians agree! If you want to teach that there were wonderful things about slavery, use your religion’s time, not your publicly funded school’s
Come on; this should all be obvious to the states, even to Texas!

All the Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Islam and their illegitimate sibling Christianity are based on fabricated history. Making shit up is just tradition.

The concept of religious thought tampering with history rankles me to the point, almost of violence. It is like Orwell’s “1984” all over again. A major problem is that these zealots never give up or let up in their quest to make the course of history fit their ideology. It can be liken to living ones entire life carrying a heavy weight every day of ones life. In Christian terms, it is like every intelligent person having to dragging the weight of a cross every day until they die. Relentless pressure to make history a fairy tale instead of what was real.

There is an all out war on history because there is a war on science and anything else that threatens the latest crusade — and crusade it is with the objective of establishing a Christian caliphate. If we could only get Americans to stop putting aside their mostly stupid obsessions and address this fact, there might be a chance to do something about it. ISIS has absolutely no chance of conquest here, The Christianist crusaders have a good chance.
