I’ve always liked Brown, and was confident, when he was elected he would do a good job for California.
California already rejected the nonsense that was the tunnels way back in the 70s when it was called by another name and lots of us are rejecting it with its new name too. It’s taking water from up here in NoCal and letting it be used for unsustainable stuff in the valley where they haven’t met a water rights fight they don’t like yet. Just this week some SoCal ratfuckers bought a few islands in the Delta, so they can harp on us about water rights up here in NoCal. The tunnels are just a way to siphon out water to the rest of the state from up here.
As far as high speed rail. In my little area of the world is where the Larry Ellisons, Meg Whitmans live and people like them are doing the NIMBY thing with rail. It will come too close to our tony area we don’t want it here types of people show up to our town meetings all the time complaining about the rail going through. Just look up Atherton (this is where I live), Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Woodside etc news about the rail goings on and you’ll see what I am talking about.
As far as Jerry goes, I would gladly vote for him again and again if it kept us as one of the biggest economies in the world just by ourselves.
