In Britain We’re All Going To Hell In A Hijab

Last year, Trevor Phillips, a former TV journalist and then the Chairman – (and yes I say ‘Chairman’ as opposed to ‘Chair’ and no it isn’t sexist to say ‘Chairman’ or ‘Chairwoman’ it merely points out the obvious that the person in ‘the chair’ is either male or female and besides, calling them ‘Chair’ is just ridiculous as invariably whether male or female they haven’t got four wooden legs) – of the Equality and Human Rights Commission made a programme called ‘Things We Won’t Say About Race That Are True’.
Not surprisingly Britain’s ‘left’ bounced up and down with self righteous indignation. The fact that Trevor is a black British chap probably inflamed them all the more as cries of ‘RACIST!’ can be a bit more difficult when the person being so accused is of the ethnicity supposedly that should be the ‘victim’ of racism.
Trevor pointed out that the ‘diversity’ gestapo of Britain’s left who favour British values being flushed down the nearest toilet in favour of adopting any and every culture under the sun that isn’t British have actually encouraged apartheid in Britain by creating ghetto’s and ‘closed societies’ in our inner cities, where ignorance and hatred flourish unchecked.
Trevor has stated that “Large numbers of Muslims have no intention of integrating with the rest of society and reject the values and behaviours which make Britain what it is”.
Almost a quarter of Muslims in Britain support the introduction of Sharia Law and, frighteningly, 4 percent – equivalent to 100,000 people – support violence, including suicide bombings, to ‘defend’ Islam.
Trevor Phillips is no sensationalist. He has worked tirelessly over the years against colour prejudice and racism so, if such a man makes such statements, can they be treated seriously? Clearly, in my view, yes they can.
He is at pains to point out that most Muslims in Britain want nothing more than to live in peace and do their best for their families but also points out that there is clearly a voluble and intolerant strand of Islam in Britain that proselytises separatism, denigrates other religions along with agnosticism and atheism and is violently opposed to any form of compromise with mainstream British values.
Any attempt to challenge them is howled down as ‘Islamophobia’ by both a significant number of Britain’s politically correct ‘left wing’ and, of course, the Islamists themselves.
Trevor Phillips also points out that Hindu’s and Sikh’s, for example, never demand that the British make changes to British values to accommodate them and, come to that, neither do Jews, Buddhists, Jehovah’s Witnesses nor any other religious group or culture.
Trevor believes, rightly in my view, that Britain has got to ‘break up’ the ‘Muslim ghetto’s’ in Britain and support liberal Muslim’s in confronting the ‘mad mullahs’ in extremist mosques.
There is no more time for complacency nor paying attention to the ‘politically correct’. Those who reject our liberal British values are always free to leave.
Unless we listen to voices of reason and common sense in Britain like Trevor Phillips, we are all going to hell in a hijab.

Ethnic people can be racists as well you know. Not for nothing, but Muslims are not a race, that is a religion and we have that same shit here in the Americas with fundie religious nuts not wanting to fit in and have actual states they migrate to, see Utah for the Mormons and a lot of the southern cities and towns with talibangelicals running things, to the detriment of the rest of the citizens. We’ve got the same nuts trying to get rid of “the gays” and women’s rights by Christian laws, is that really any different Neil? We need to rid ourselves of religion all over the world and this will get better. This whole, my imaginary sky daddy can beat your up game is fucking up the world with its bullshit. **rant over**

some of you guys in your 50s are still rocking it. Look no further than Rob Lowe and John Stamos as my prime examples of 50+ yr olds. Oh yeah, I would totally do them and they are way older than I am. don’t judge me for my shallow ways.
You olds still have some shit you can contribute. Remember it was some of you olds that gave birth to the young that are carrying the torches of today. Well in our case Neil, not so much, we learned our torch carrying ways from adoptive parents but you know what I mean.
I agree that a country of ethnic enclaves protected by real and imagined barriers isn’t stable. If ethnic diversity has been a boon in the Americas, it’s because it has been, to a higher degree than in Britain, a melting pot.
Of course we’re working hard to re-establish mistrust and hostility every day.
We are indeed old bean although I have to say, whilst I personally do my best to ‘trust’ Muslims in Britain it is getting harder and harder to do so as it is hard not to wonder ‘is this guy all right or not?’ and, frankly, it is hard to tell.
The clear desire evidenced by merely walking through my home town that a worrying number of Muslims have no interest in integrating makes it hard to trust them or, come to that, have much respect for them.
After all, if they wish to live under Sharia they can always leave Britain?
