Paul Ryan Takes a Knee Before The Mighty Donald

As I pointed out in my last post the major voting blocs of the republican party are mostly dupes who are told the nonsense they want to hear by republicans so they vote republican. The nonsense of course includes the crap about Obama destroying America and taking our guns and freedom.
I figured though that Speaker Paul Ryan would at least be man enough, or have the intelligence and integrity not to be lured in by people saying the crap he wants to hear. As a leading republican it’s Ryan’s job to tell the masses the crap they want to hear. Believe it or not it’s actually a good thing Ryan is a dupe. Ryan just got duped by the next President of the United States: Donald Trump.
My good friend Don just had a meeting with Paul and Paul came away from it with good feelings that Don was going to unify the party and other crap Don told him. That’s a laugh as Don already has the kooks, bigots and religious nuts on his side now. He doesn’t need Paul Ryan and his small band of wealthy and wealth beholden benefactors. It is a testament to the good nature of my good friend Don though that he told Paul nonsense Paul wanted to hear so Paul can act like a hero and tell us how unifying Don is and now Don won’t be mean to Paul anymore.
Naturally all the wannabees will come out of the wordwork to get in Donald’s good graces. They’ll all say they had “concerns” but they were all behind Donald. Jive Turkeys like Mitch McConnell and other senators and congressmen will suddenly shill for Donald. Conservative writers like George Will will change their tunes as well. But these sorry, deluded fools just don’t realize that Don won’t forget their treachery. He will tell them the nonsense they want to hear about tax cuts and returning to our Judeo/Christian values.
The media blitz for Donald will be unmatched in history. Fortunately Donald knows I’m virtually the only blogger, write of any renown that has supported him from the start. My coming out for Donald coincided with his rise to the republican presidential nomination. So piss on all the Johnny come latelys out there.
I look for Mitt Romney to have a meeting with Trump soon. Might be awhile as Mitt still has some pipe dream about being nominated at the convention cause Jesus and a few fellow millionaires told him so. One has to admire his ambition and refusal to quit. Something in the magic underwear I suppose. But eventually Mitt will fall in line and sing Donald’s praises as well.
The election will not be about issues. There will be no substantive discussion at all. It will simply be vote for Trump because he’s not Hillary or Obama. Pretty much what the republican message has been since Obama came to prominence. God forbid it be about facts like unemployment being way down under Obama. That despite the warnings we haven’t been nuked by the Russians or Chinese, or anyone. That the only gun laws that have passed during Obama’s administration expanded gun owner rights and made coordinating background checks easier, which is what the police wanted and we republicans support the police. I thought we did anyway.
Yeah. Just vote for Don cause he isn’t Hillary sounds like the best way to go. And as Donald has proven, as well as republican politics from Nixon’s era, plenty of voters don’t want facts. They want someone that agrees with them so they can vote against the other guy. While Hillary is excellent at telling anyone listening the crap they want to hear, she was a Goldwater Girl, Donald Trump just got the ultimate insider, Paul Ryan to speak glowingly of him. And that’s a great example of what’s important: putting party politics before country. It’s what we republicans stand for and it’s what Donald has the top republicans now convinced he will strive for in the spirit of unity.
Sorry to tell the boss, MadMike, but Hillary is toast. The Democrats only hope against Donald Trump is Bernie Sanders. Only he can get the left wing kooks to vote. And the Dems are gonna need their kooks cause Donald has all the republican kooks on board and soon rich and powerful republicans will be too. Obama showed the Dems they need fresh blood to win. The voting Democrats will vote for Hillary, or Bernie anyway. Occasional and never have voted people will vote for Bernie. They aren’t voting for Hillary. Since the Tea Party rise it’s more important than ever for a party to control it’s kooks. The republican party can’t control the tea party. Trump can. Trump wins. America will be great again.
