Ted Cruz Found What John McCain Lost in 2008

One of the great things about republicans is our loyalty. For the most part we quickly fall in line behind whomever our billionaires want us to fall behind. So it’s refreshing when someone says “up yours” to our billionaires like Ted Cruz did at the RNC Convention.

We all remember the beatdown the Bush team did to John McCain in 2000. He called him a coward and all kinds of other nasty stuff. McCain heroically got behind Bush and pretty much carried his water after losing to Bush in the primaries. A grand gesture of sucking up. We rewarded him in 2008 with the nomination for President which we knew he would lose. Didn’t want to waste a good candidate although this backfired when we went with Romney in 2012. Romney sucked up to our billionaires and ultra righties properly also but you can’t win em all. Damn cell phones screwed us good. Mitt didn’t understand the moochers have cell phones with video cameras and no moocher wants to be called a moocher even though they mooch.

Ted Cruz is taking the high road in my opinion. He isn’t sucking up to Trump and the hoard of kooks that support him. He’s telling them to piss off and I respect him for that even more than I respect Chris Christie and Newt Gingrich’s sucking up. The republican party is changing and Ted gets it while the old guard doesn’t. We admire tough. The last two suck ups lost. Ted is betting Trump will lose, and I agree with him as I am no longer on the Trump team.

Ted also looked at the republican primary field. The losers were all sissies. They sucked up to Trump and when they ventured an attack they wilted leaving a kook like Ted getting second place. The second place guy almost always wins the next time in republican presidential primaries. Sound strategy.

It’s hard to respect any of the guys and gal that ran for the republican presidential nomination this year. They’re all liars and hypocrites. There were no fresh ideas, just the same republican crap we’ve been spouting since Reagan about low taxes, families and freedom and burdensome regulation. None of them dared question Biblical stories of creation or floods or that climate change was anything but a hoax. For the most part, other than Trump and Cruz the field was an unimaginative obedient clowns that said whatever the Cato Institute or Heritage Foundation approved.

Trump’s campaign was not one of courage and conviction. He just said whatever nonsense popped into his head and I doubt then and now he ever wanted to be President. In the end, and especially at the republican convention Wednesday evening, Ted Cruz is the only republican that displayed and balls at all. And ironically though we republicans hate gay guys, we admire and respect balls. The bigger the better. And Ted dangled a pair of bowling ball sized balls right in Trump’s and the republican convention’s face.

..and he doubled down with his Oswald, Papa Cruz comments. Trump is an asshole, and the last guy we need as president.
