I am automatically reluctant to vote for anyone who is endorsed by the NRA, no matter what their party. Call it political bigotry if you want, but so be it. Those candidates wouldn’t get their endorsements if they weren’t in the NRA’s pocket, so my prejudice is based on their actions and affiliations, not their heredity.

I did read more than the headline; I suppose that the unsurprising thing is that the NRA has been diehard supporters of Trump, despite what any of his theoretical fans propose or support. Yeah, I suppose it’s surprising that so many people say they like Trump but support gun control, but clearly they don’t, because they still support Trump, who is solidly in the ranks of the NRA! In my mind, the NRA so far from American philosophy that I can’t figure out why so many spport it!
