Disorder on the Border: Donald Trump Goes To Mexico

Read Time:1 Minute, 7 Second

danzcolorplus7060-e1472706096896-668x501I read the news today oh boy. Liar Trump went to Mexico. It brings to mind Tricky Dick Nixon’s trip to Venezuela as Vice President in 1958 and yes, I’m very much old enough to remember how his limo was attacked by an angry mob, its windows smashed and nearly overturned while his guards pulled their weapons. Venezuelans hadn’t forgotten how the US had given the Legion of Merit medal to hated but “anti-Communist” Venezuelan dictator Marcos Perez Jimenez in 1954.

Mexico is a long way from forgetting Liar Trump calling them rapists and criminals and threatening to deport millions of harmless men, women and children. Mexico’s president Enrique Pena Nieto, who has compared Liar Trump to Adolph Hitler has apparently invited him. The Mexican public is also certainly aware of Liar Trump’s threat to make them pay for a multi-billion dollar wall on US soil in some mysterious fashion. I expect the reception to be warm; very warm, believe me.

The Idiot Trump, as we’ve seen, thinks hard drives are cleaned with Clorox and perhaps he thinks that those undocumented Mexicans swam the Rio Grande instead of coming over as tourists or visitors or dependent infants and overstaying their visas as all those illegal Canadians do, but I’m sure he will be reminded. I’m sure his reception was HUGE! Just HUGE!

[…] rant. Seems to be unimpressed with Donald Trump’s trip to Mexico, comparing it to another unsuccessful Republican trip. […]

I’m sure you’re right and I think we see the evidence in his canned speech, obviously written by someone else to make him seem like Uncle Donald, the Statesman. Apparently Hillary was also invited, but declined and I’m guessing this was intended to make Nieto seem relevant to international politics. I’m also guessing it didn’t work.

It is odd that the President of Mexico whose ratings in Mexico are roughly what Trump’s are in this country, around 20% approval, would invite Donald Trump down for a visit whose ratings in Mexico are about 2% approval. I am sure, though I can’t prove it, that Trump’s people some how arranged the meeting hoping to breath some life into the Trump campaign. Well, it did not seem to work as Trump got in his own way again. So, it is what it is. 60+ days and counting.
