This is just as bad as those who refuse to serve gays. The point is this, people on both sides of this issue have there rights and wrongs. Being bull headed and partisan is simply going to further antagonize one group or the other. Humans were given brains and emotions. It is time for the brains to win out over the emotions. Humans are supposed to be able to think, reason, and be able to be objective about some things in life. Otherwise we are no better than those who ran around with the Swastikas, doing as they were told without worrying about what was right or wrong. Morals and ethics are about doing the right thing all the time, not just when someone is watching you. IT IS A BUNCH OF BULLSHIT WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT IS DRIVING DONALD TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN.

Now, you may ask, what if I were working there and required to make a cake a swastika and/or racist statements or pictures. I don’t know that I know what I would do. I know it partly depends on stated policies of particular store, and it’s conceivable that I would not have allowed myself to be hired by a store with certain kinds of policies. Had I been, I would allow myself to be fired for certain actions/or lack thereof.

I’m sorry, no excuse 🙁 You don’t need to agree with or even like a message. You are in a service business; just as you can’t refuse to make a wedding cake for a gay couple, you can’t refuse to decorate a retirement cake appropriately! I agree: those who refused to decorate it be fired!
