Donald Trump, Arson in North Carolina, and the Reichstag Fire of 1933
So far, no suspects in the arson at a Republican headquarters in North Carolina, but one hell of a lot of witch hunting.
With Trump being one of the most hated men in the world at the moment (not in Moscow) there is so much motive in the air a hurricane couldn’t blow it away.
No shortage of theories however, because being able to blame almost anyone provides a target that can be used for an Orwellian hate-fest and a diversion as well as a chance to create another false equivalence to show the “left” is just as bad.
There’s no evidence I know of to talk about a false flag operation, but because turnabout is fair play and the Trump Troopers have been pinning that tail on the donkey with regularity, I might just as well.
Actual conservatives hate him for destroying the party, associating it with nearly every hate group in America and putting their political futures in jeopardy, so why not.
Besides for the Trump Party itself, it’s a chance to claim sympathy.
It’s the sort of thing Hitler did after all.

The minute I heard about this I thought about the Reichstag fire and the Germans dressing poles up in German uniforms, taking them to a radio station on the border between Poland the the Reich, shooting them, and blaming the poles, calling it an act of war.
I forgot about the Poles Mike. Good recall. Good article.
