In Trump World It’s Fun To Be Stupid

Read Time:2 Minute, 11 Second

907d1060be96835aff29769feaa78998It’s quite clear that to support Trump-O-Nomics more denial (and more faith) is required than knowledge. Saving jobs by forcing workers to bribe their bosses from their tax revenues while the bosses get cuts is an idea that reminds me of perpetual motion machines. People still apply for patents on such things and people still think Trump is going to make “deals” that work on the same principle. I don’t need “the science guy” to show me that you don’t make a man wealthier by picking his pocket and giving it to his boss any more than I need a physicist or economist for that matter to show me you can’t get something from nothing.

Does Donald really believe his own words? It’s hard to tell but he thinks his supporters do and he’s probably right. Don’t vaccinate your kids, Autism is increasing, there’s no drought in California, the Chinese invented the myth about global warming. The CDC is bringing Ebola into the US. US health workers in Africa must be forbidden to come back to the US. Wind farms make people sick. Light bulbs cause cancer. Fracking causes no health risks. The planet isn’t heating up if it’s cold at my house today.

These are all statements mentioned recently by the Board of Editors of Scientific American, and I have to speculate that recent appointments of raving lunatics, tribal shamans and babbling idiots to high office suggests the Idiot Elect has more horrendous opinions than he’s had time to tell us about yet. After all he’s the man who claims he’s had more military training than the Joint Chiefs and knows more about the operations of ISIS – you know, that organization founded by Hillary Clinton.

Obama is letting Iran keep their nukes, (even though they have none). Obama is going to take away the health care from 90 million Americans but gives free health insurance to illegal immigrants.  All we need are “deals.”  Such are the idiotic assertions that got him elected. Such are the things we couldn’t succeed in refuting because of the flood of lies that’s long since drowned responsible journalism. Such are the things America believes. Ignorant America, angry America: demented, delusional America grasping at fallacies and reassuring lies. Jobs! Jobs! Free Jobs! Free prosperity! Step right up.

Hell, no, Trump isn’t the science guy, he’s the liar guy, the superstition guy, the guy with the card table and shell game, the three card monte street hustle guy with the green eyeshade and his eye on your wallet — and we are the anti-education nation that let it all happen.

If only that more and more obvious stupidity and arrogance would turn people away from him, but I’m not seeing that. Not a bit of it.

And that stupidity becomes more evident each and every day.

Still wish I could meet him. He’d be bullshitting an octave or two higher.

Much sadness is ahead I’m afraid. I actually try to stay away from Trump news but how can you? One needs to know what the enemy is up to after all…..
