Neil. You said it better and quite a bit more directly. I essentially agree. In a way it’s a somewhat meaningless article. I’m doing ok with one exception. I really don’t think I’m doing as well as I was ten years ago? Do I think the rich guys are getting it instead of me? Not really. I just want a level playing field from a tax point of view. Otherwise no problem.
I don’t care.
As long as my family and immediate friends are ok I really couldn’t care less.
I can’t stop the extremely wealthy being extremely wealthy so screw it.
Me and my family are ok, my immediate friends are ok.
Fuck everyone else.
I don’t make life as it is. i just make sure me and mine are ok.
Valid story but nobody can ever ever ever change it so look after you and yours mate. All we can do.
I read this story and was, frankly, incredulous. Then I read a story that even if manufacturing is brought back to the U.S. it wouldn’t create one job. They’d all be automated. Do I blame rich people for getting richer? I can only blame them for their greed but quite often accumulating wealth is as much a hobby as a profession. If you have a talent for something we all gravitate towards using it. From where I stand technology is as much a problem as a benefit and is leading the charge in the separation of the haves from the have nots. So, like most stories this one essentially looks at the problem (if it is a problem?) from one side. Maybe the problem is just plain too many uneducated people. I am just as frustrated with the ignorance as I am with the greed. It’s equal. If this makes no sense it’s because I’m probably one of the uneducated ones.
