Trump Continues To Lie About the Popular Vote
(NEWSER) – President Trump isn’t letting one of his controversial claims about the election go away: In a meeting with congressional leaders Monday, he told them that he would have won the popular vote if not for voter fraud. “He said 3 to 5 million ‘illegals’ voted so that’s why he lost popular vote,” says a Democratic aide present, per the Hill.
Multiple outlets, including the Washington Post, have the same story with their own sources. And the New York Times doesn’t mince words, stating in a front-page headline that “Trump Repeats Lie About Popular Vote …”

Trump won the Electoral College 304-227, but in the official tally, Hillary Clinton won the popular ballot by about 3 million votes.
Trump first alleged voter fraud in a November tweet, but he has offered no evidence to support the claim and independent fact-checkers have dismissed the allegation.
Around the time he first made it, the claim was present on conspiracy websites, notes CNN.

He has a mental NEED to be, at least seen as, the best and most desired of all. How we managed to get someone so mentally disturbed elected as president… Well, part of his personality is that is extremely good at convincing people of things. When I was in college, I knew someone like this. It was so easy and desirable to totally believe the things he said. In my case, it was his claims of religious things that convinced me that he was shoveling a pile. But many people bought it! The father of another friend, amusingly, “John Scott” pulled him out of school after Thanksgiving break; somehow, he didn’t think that paying University of Chicago tuition was necessary for his, John Scott’s, learning nothing about his school subjects but gaining immense knowledge of John Adams (the major narcissistic compulsive liar in question) and his loony-tune proclamations.
I suppose that I would pity him for his illness (!!) if it weren’t so important, and he didn’t have such an important job and influence on the world overall :-(.
