Market Dumps Trump’s Junk

Read Time:1 Minute, 57 Second

I read an article on Bloomberg.com this morning about the steady and nearly complete failure of Trump brands, from cheap suits to expensive deodorant (insert quip about big stink needing big cover-up here).

Trump’s rebranded detritus began to slump after the so-called entrepreneur trashed John McCain’s status as a war hero and people stopped buying it. Still, despite far more offensive antics, scandals, payed off victims of fraud and assault and most of all actions that have been described as treasonous, the Trump political brand is still being supported.

That’s the thing. The marketplace for things has a clear metric: is it profitable? and the answer for the last few years has been a solid NO. But then when your suit looks like a Soviet apparatchik slept in it and your Trump wine tastes like you got it from a homeless guy’s paper bag. It fails, just like a Trump casino or a Trump University or a Trump Travel Ban.

The world of politics however is a world where things are their opposites and nothing has a fixed meaning or principal and most of the facts are fake but fiercely held. Meeting yesterday with some wealthy investors discussing investments in uranium mining, it was mentioned and completely and unquestioningly accepted that “Hillary” had given 20% of US uranium resources to Russia,

The acceptance includes the stupid idea that she ever had the authority and not the President or that her charity received a cut of the action. Such is the metric of hate. So similar to the metric of stupid. Of course it’s fake and distorted and she had nothing to do with it anyway, but prove that to the Trumpers? Ha. Evidence is dismissed by bashing “the media” just like Tricky Dick did or by muttering George Soros three times and sprinkling salt over your right shoulder.

So on we go, sailing through the ocean of muck in a leaky ship with a crook and a liar at the helm. As long as it feels good, it must be true, but to me it doesn’t. It feels like our right to call ourselves a functioning Republic is long lost and our idea that we’re somehow going to lie, cheat and steal our way to renewed greatness has doom written all over it.

I see your blog needs some fresh articles. Writing manually is time consuming,
but there is solution for this. Just search for – Masquro’s strategies

If he’s indicted for a serious crime, maybe they will have to, but even that would require more than total proof of guilt. But can we fix Trumps damage without fixing the millions who support him, won’t believe anything against him and who all carry guns. Can we fix the Bernie twinks, the Green party and Libertarian loonies? I doubt it.

Do you think the House republicans will ever vote to impeach him? Do you think the AG will ever authorize a fair investigation of The Donald? Will America ever be the same again? What do you think Glenn?
