Trump’s Truth Left Town On the 3:10 to Yuma

Read Time:1 Minute, 9 Second

by Glenn R. Geist

Crooked Hillary, so called judges, fake news: these are the big guns of the Trump war. The media are the enemy of the people says his flatulence and life long republicans wince at the term that was like a battle flag for the Communist revolutions of the world. Enemy of the people. It’s always another word for truth and freedom.

“We don’t like the press to be free, Turn them off and listen to me.” That could be Stalin, that Could be Mao, it could be any tyrant from any time or any cult leader. Truth is the enemy, they’re out to get us, follow me.

But “the media did not make Donald Trump and it can’t destroy him” said the deplorable Limbaugh, his light failing. Of course that’s hardly true. The media did in fact make him: the TV coverage, the Radio shows the fake biography. What Limbaugh really means is “the truth didn’t make him and the truth can’t destroy him.” The news is fake, the best newspapers all over the world are fake, the data is fake and failing but the lies are truth.

The demonstrable is nugatory and all his truth comes, like Samson’s strength, from his (fake) hair. The real truth? The kind with proof? It doesn’t matter and besides it left town yesterday on the 3:10 to Yuma.

I wonder which character he sees as himself?

Interesting question. I doubt it would be the good guy. He didn’t have an inflated ego.
