It seems that several indicators like loss of smell, balance and spatial perception can presage later problems like Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body Disease long before there’s enough evidence for a diagnosis.

That’s all true. I’ve had a few mild, very mild balance issues lately, and it’s concerning.
