Donald Trump: Frankly Disgusting

Read Time:1 Minute, 11 Second

by Glenn R. Geist

Not long ago I read an article that proposed the idea that people who self-identify as “Conservatives” not only have larger areas of the brain that process fear, but that tests that determine an individual’s threshold of disgust can predict one’s place in the political spectrum. I’m certainly not in a position of authority when it comes to experimental or anatomical psychology, but the theory came quickly to mind when I read Wednesday’s toilet tweet from the big-bellied Boobiehatcher.

“frankly disgusting [that] the press is able to write whatever they want to write. And people should look into it.”

I did in fact look into it and it was right there at the top of the list we call the Bill of Rights. Since early in his campaign the ugly bird has talked about punishing critics and opponents of all sorts. He’s afraid of everyone and anyone and has to surround himself with smiling sycophants and seek cheering crowds as much as “Rocket Man” as he calls the North Korean dictator. His suggestion that NBC be taken off the air for reporting “fake news”  is unequivocally unconstitutional.

He’s afraid of critics, he’s afraid of the voting public and most of all, he’s afraid of the truth and everything about his presidency so far has been about obscuring, hiding and denying the ugly, damning and yes, disgusting truth about Trump and his crimes.

As he continues to withdraw from reality and hide behind walls of rhetoric, behind walls of concrete and steel and walls of military power, I wonder if being just a president will be enough to protect his quivering ego. I don’t want to know what he’s dreaming about.

….and yet he’s still President and, as far as I can see, will be tomorrow and onwards.

It’s a worry in’t it?
