Mitt Romney Joins “The Really Big Liars Club”

Read Time:1 Minute, 50 Second

Mitt Romney seems to enjoy

having fun with the truth

Refusing to be outdone by the Cheney family, ex-Massachusetts Governor, ex-Presidential Candidate and future Presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, yesterday joined a club that is becoming less exclusive everyday, “The Really Big Liars Club.”

Willard Mitt Romney, son of former Michigan Governor George Romney who was also a president of American Motors.

After graduating from Brigham Young, Mitt got a draft deferment because he was doing ministerial work for the Mormon Church and three more deferments because he was a student. Like Cheney he had better things to do. For men who supported war with Iraq, they were pretty averse to putting on the uniform of the US military, at least W. pretended and joined the National Guard.

Mitt Romney has earned his flip-flop reputation

While running for the Republican nomination in the 2008 presidential race, Romney said this:

“The question is, where is Washington?” Mr. Romney said, speaking to a gaggle of reporters across from a General Motors transmission plant near Ypsilanti, where 200 layoffs were announced this week. “Where does it stop? Is there a point at which someone says ‘enough’? Or are we going to allow the entire domestic automotive manufacturing industry to disappear?”

While speaking to CPAC in Washington yesterday he said this:

Asked about Obama’s role in the managed bankruptcy of General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp., Romney said he would not have “sent $10 billion-plus to the industry prior to working out a managed bankruptcy. I think had the companies pursued that course, with the help of the government, of course, that they would have been in a far better position to protect their shareholders and their bondholders than they were having accepted federal funds.”

Of course, the delegates loved it, they like really big lies and they were spoiled for choice yesterday with both Cheneys spouting their particular brand of venom. The corporate media probably won’t call Romney on his terminological inexactitudes and if they confronted him, he would pull another out of his lying ass.

Truthfully Mitt Romney is no different to most politicians, say one thing one day, deny it the next.

Need I remind everyone of Romney’s past as a really shitty dog owner?

It’s too bad that airline passenger missed when he took a swing at Romney. Mitt should take after his father and admit that he’s been brainwashed. (Yes, I’m old enough to remember George Romney; my age is showing.)

“The question is, where is Washington?” OMG, somebody please show this doofus a geography book ASAP.

Romney’s a typical politician. He says what he has to say to please the people he’s speaking to. When he was running in MA, he was to the LEFT of Ted Kennedy on gay rights. Now that he’s running (ostensibly) for the Republican nomination again, he’s regurgitaing a different type of red meat. Typical, typical, typical.

Palin, Romney … It’s amazing how a little luck in the looks department can get a person a free pass on things like logic, honesty and consistency.

Mitt Romney is cut from the same cloth as the rest of the Right Wing Jesus Jumpers. Lies, hypocrisy, narcissism, and etc. are all part of the body politic of the Republican paradigm. Secondly, he is a Mormon. Do you know how the Mormon religion came about? I have to dig up that South Park episode. Great post man.
