REPUBLICANISM APPEALS TO THE STUPID AND LAZY

Read Time:1 Minute, 36 Second

I don’t care who you are…TAO, MadMike, Holte Ender or Stephen Hawking, Fareed Zakaria is smarter than all of us. And therein lies the problem with CNN’s ratings versus FOX News.

For every intelligent, well informed person like those I mentioned who want dialogue and information from other smart, well informed people, there are thousands more that would rather sit on their asses all day complaining about things they choose not to understand because thay are either stupid, lazy or both.

A well written and documented treatise on global warming means nothing to backward thinking fools who think because it’s snowing in early February that climate change is a hoax.

A well researched treatise into how many automatic weapons are in the hands of gang members means nothing if a closed minded moron thinks a G-Man is coming to take his gun away because he heard a nutcase say it on FOX News.

A plan to reduce teen pregnancies through education and access to safe birth control means nothing to an idiot who heard George Bush moralize about abstinence only programs and loving Jesus.

The tragedy is that the deluded fools that buy into these baseless arguments make up the base of the republican party. They choose to be ignorant so more high level discussions with Fareed Zakaria won’t make a difference. They listen to Rush and Glenn because low level ignorance and berating of the educated and intelligent makes them feel good about their own mental shortcomings.

So I say give them what they want. The average reactionary righty is content to be duped into supporting the very party that would destroy the middle class in America so lets dupe them into voting for Democrats that would at least work to secure their futures. These people not only need to be protected from themselves. America need to be protected from their exploitation by the republicans.

Well, well said. Well written. I agree. I watch FZ on Sundays, too. Rethugs are fraken lazy… no thoughts no substance. So it seems and then demonstrates. Well said, Truth.

Holte: Mr. Bee is a hoot. He’s a self-described king of the nerds.

Yesterday was my birthday (don’t ask which one, haha). He brought me home an “Evil Kirk” action figure to go with my “evil Spock”. How cool is that?

BEE – Happy Birthday.

I dig what Sky Girl is saying. Her ideas give us more to throw at the bigots, idiots and homophobes, especially the mothers when we tell them republicans support rapists locking their victims in boxes in Iraq.

These morons want a message they can identify with Holte. They would vote for Hitler if he carried a cross and sang the Star Spangled Banner. It doesn’t matter what he would do as president or whatever as long as he told the shitheads what they wanted to hear.

TRUTH – I agree with you, the Republican base would vote for any despot as long as he/she said the right things. They were pretty angry when they lost the last general election, how angry are they going to be when they lose the next?

Holte – certainly not. Advertisers, sponsors and franchise outlets – maybe.

I should have prefaced my statement with: Mr. Bee’s equations are not always correct, but it’s fun watching him get at his final number 🙂

BEE – Mr. Bee sounds like an amusing fellow.

Truth, as a woman, I am always especially puzzled at how Republicans get so many women to vote with them against their own intersts. They vote with the party that votes against equal pay for equal work, against their right to terminate a pregnancy to save their own lives, and in some cases votes with coproations who have policies that encourage women to push sexual assault in the workplace under the carpet. I just can’t understand it at all. But then, I’ve never been a good little woman who listens to my husband, daddy, or pastor when I go out to vote or do anything else, either.

I’m just sitting here nodding my head at this thread.
Good post Truth 101, but if I may add, it’s beyond stupidity in a certain aspect, the tea baggers, the right are just a bunch of people who want to feel good again, even if it’s based upon a lie.
They just want to believe in that bullshit “1950s America” when all the people they didn’t like were invisible or on the run and women quietly toiled away in the kitchen.

I say: “Tough shit, Reagan’s dead and a Black man is President.”

Hooray for us and the future of the nation. Period. Dick Armey can lie his fat ass off all the live long day at CPAC, and it doesn’t matter. The rich creeps he calls friends lost the battle in 2008.

Republicans still prefer a fantasy of sorts, like our last POTUS: a fake folksy wannabe cowboy (in reality an ultra wealthy president’s son who’s never worked a day in his life) who pretends to relate to them,
-rather than a Black man who doesn’t talk to them like they’re children or idiots.

I remember this particualr assinine statement from GOP voters in 2000:
“I could have a beer with George W. Bush, that’s why I voted for him”

My response?
-uuuh, no you couldn’t have a beer with him you horse’s ass. George W. Bush is rich and he went to Yale. His car will never be pulling into your diner or truckstop except in the case that his chaffeurs and bodyguards need coffee, need to piss or need directions out of your town.

“Suckers” is the word we’re looking for here Truth 101. The GOP voting block and the Tea Baggers are a bunch of fucking suckers.

So, basically by voting Democrat and paying my taxes I am creating a dumbass safety net for a bunch of republicans who are too stupid to think for themselves?

Well, I say let Limbaugh and Fox News pay a new tax based on number of viewers they claim as a percentage of their grossly unearned pay…

Then call it a stupidity security insurance and let all the yahoos who buy their crap sponge off of that program..

I missed the 14 year old…I need to watch that one…

I did love Newt going on and on about how he fears for America and its values and what an oppressed minority he feels like as a conservative….

You would never know that the dirt bag was SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE once and thus third in line for the presidency…

The republicans do a good job getting deluding people into voting against their interests Holte. I hate to say it but there is a certain percentage of the population that is too dumb and lazy to get past guns, God and gays.

A well worded so it sounds like it’s coming from one of these idiots ad in the right places; Nascar on Saturdays. Pawn Stars. Stuff like that telling the deluded fools that republicans are in cahoots with Khomeni’s ghost and they’re going to take your guns and give them to Gitmo and Abu Ghraib prisoners so they don’t sue us would do the trick.

Laugh if you want but there are loads of people stupid enough to fall for this. I’d just as soon they vote for Obama as Romney, Palin or Huckabee.

TRUTH – You said “give them what they want” well what they want is a Republican President and a Republican Congress, I’m not sure there is enough of them to get everything. All the GOP is doing right now is preaching to a noisy choir, how many new fans are being won over is very debatable. The Republican hierarchy is very cynical, they are a lot smarter than their base, but their only way to power is appealing to the lowest common denominator, but they need more and like Obama did in 2008, the Republicans are making a play for the fickle swing voters.

Mr. Bee worked it all out, and found that Rush really only has about 2 million regular listeners. Someday I’ll get him to give me his equation so I can post it.

BEE – Limbaugh signed a $400 million dollar deal to keep doing his show with a $100 million signing bonus, 2 million listeners wouldn’t pay those bills. HERE

TRUTH – Agree with you about Fareed Zakaria, he has got to be one of the smartest people on the planet. But if he got himself a job on Talk Radio, it would go the way of Air America.

The 20 million listeners Limbaugh gets, means there are a lot of people to dupe into voting democrat, I would say they are pretty undupable. If the economy turned round and became jobs driven recovery, they would not give Obama any credit for it. “The Bush policies are finally working” would be their cry.

The Democratic Party faithful, for the most part, couldn’t be talked into voting any other way either. So the only people left are the swing voting Independents. Those are the people that have to be convinced into NOT voting Republican.

Obama’s approval rating is 30 points higher than that of Congress, so there are some thinkers out there.

If people get what they deserve, What the hell did we do to deserve THIS!

We’ve got a jerk running in my congressional district trying to dupe a bunch of people into thinking that he IS a Democrat. It’s my opinion he doesn’t want to throw in with the big-dogs running in the Respublican primary, so he’s trying to trick locals into thinking it’s ok to vote for a Democrat, as long as he is anti gay-rights, pro-choice, against Obama, and fiscally conservative. WTF???? The Rush Limbaugh fans may buy it, but the actual liberals here are still shopping for a candidate.

I’m not sure how to dupe these people into voting for actual Democrats. Even moderate Democrats. Most of them are so far gone they see or hear the word “Democrat” and freak out running and screaming like Lucifer himself just started chasing them with a pitchfork. There is no reason. Because their preacher told them so.

I thought about this post a few minutes ago as I watched CNN interview that goofy 14-year old Uber-Republican, after his nutty speech at the C-CRAP convention. This kid went on to say the Barack Obama was personally responsible for all the nation’s debt. I do so hate Republicans and the MSM that loves them…
