The British media have suddenly realised that a ‘hung’ parliament is looking increasingly likely. This would allow the Liberals a foothold as either Labour or Tory would do a deal with them for overall control.
Unfortunately, Clegg’s Liberals want ever closer and closer ties to the European Union and would do so at the expense of our ties with the USA. Having never been in power since the early part of the last century – they had declined to ‘third party’ status by the late 1920’s – they, frankly, haven’t a clue to the point were they could be quite dangerous.
An amnesty for illegal immigrants? Hello! Earth calling Clegg! They are illegally here, they have no right to be therefore they should be rounded up and unceremoneously shipped out again.

4D — My impression exactly. From what I’m seeing around the net, the polling verdict on Clegg in the second debate is that he didn’t do as well as in the first — perhaps because that issue came up.
