This Florida urologist is pissed off? Well, to hell with him

Read Time:43 Second

So some dick doc in Florida doesn’t like health-care reform, and he’s taking it out on patients. Anyone who voted for Barack Hussein Obama should “seek urologic care elsewhere,” he advises in a sign at his office.

This writer, a student of Canadian history and politics, is reminded of how physicians in the prairie province of Saskatchewan resisted socialized medicine in very ugly ways some 50 years ago with displays of bitterness and racism.

In today’s Florida, it has been pointed out that Dr. Jack Cassell’s sign is possibly a breach of professional standards. Awesome Florida congressman Alan Grayson adds that it’s “ridiculous” and he’s “disgusted.”

I have to wonder, Why did doctors like Cassell get into medicine in the first place? To heal the sick or to make money? Do those people know the diff between the caduceus and the dollar sign?

Correct me here if I’m off… but doesn’t this go directly against the Hypocratic Oath? I realize that a great many allopathic Doc’s don’t care about healing… they care about banking. But, gee.
Good post Stimpson!

Wait though, he said he isn’t telling people he won’t treat them, just they have to go elsewhere. I know, I just laughed at my own self trying to figure out what that even means in my sane world. His wife is also running for some office in the area, so this is getting him some name recognition for her, and probably some money from those that like what he is doing.

Yeah, wasn’t that beautiful? “Oh, I’m not saying I won’t treat them; I’m just telling them to go away.”

They manage to spin things to levels I cannot even imagine. What makes me angrier is people believe the spin. How is that even possible for thinking people? Rhetorical question, we all know many that support the right, have issues with thinking.

The world clearly need more ailurophiles.

On topic, GOP doctors must take the Oath of Hypocrites.

Why did doctors like Cassell get into medicine in the first place? To heal the sick or to make money?

Perhaps he thinks having a captive audience at whom to vent his attitude problems is a fringe benefit.

He’ll probably regret it. Even people whose political views are close to his may feel reluctant about having delicate parts of their anatomy handled by someone with such obvious anger problems.

Oh, and you inspired me look up “ailurophile”. For a moment I thought that meant you were into aliens.:-)

LOL! I love that word (ailurophile) because many people don’t know what it means. They see or hear it and think I’m confessing to some dark perversion.

I consider myself an educated man, despite the fact that Lazer’s Edge was one of my professors at the University of Alabama’s graduate program, and I had no idea what the word meant. I did, however, look it up 🙂 It is now part of my daily vocabulary.

That link to the socialized medicine resistance is like looking in a mirror Stimpson. Excellent post, idiot doctor. Quite frankly I don’t think his actions have anything to do with HCR. I think it is an excuse to express his hatred of the president, tinged with perhaps a well hidden racism.

I saw the doctor on TV News last night, I would describe him as cocky (pun intended) and calm, almost arrogant but polite and he loves the attention.
