British Politics-Laboring Under A Lie

Read Time:6 Minute, 35 Second

The BNP (British National Party) have admitted to being mortified that, at the General Election – which included local elections, they lost all their 12 seats on Barking and Dagenham Council.

This may, or may not be a good thing depending on your own views.

However. There is a very worrying bit of ‘skullduggery’ at work here. Far more worrying than the BNP winning seats would be to the most ardent Socialist if you ask me.

“The electoral wipe-out in Barking & Dagenham shocked us all. Our hopes of victory at parliamentary and local level evaporated as we were left with no councillors at all.

We were heartbroken when Labour usurped all 51 seats on the council and the slimy wretch Margaret Hodge romped home to victory with an overwhelming vote.”

So says BNP Leader Nick Griffin.

Whilst you may disagree wholeheartedly with the BNP and all they stand for, you have to admit that –

A) Margaret Hodge is indeed a bit slimy and,

B) The BNP were indeed almost inexplicably wiped out in what was considered a very good potential seat for them.

Concentrating on the ‘B’ bit, the question is why?

“Because the residents of Barking & Dagenham suddenly realised what they were doing by voting BNP and stopped ‘doing it'”…..not inconceivable perhaps. Unlikely though I would say.

“Because the residents of Barking & Dagenham decided to change allegiance from a far right party to a left leaning party renowned for corruption”…..ridiculously unlikely I would have thought.

You would imagine that, residents who had formerly voted the BNP onto the council – a not insignificant 12 seats as well – would, if they decided to switch allegiance, look at alternatives a little more to the ‘right’. The only option being the Conservatives.

So. How did a far right party get obliterated by a left wing party in Barking & Dagenham?

“A defeat, yes, but the events in Barking & Dagenham are a terrifying wake up call to us all. Faced with the election of 12 BNP councillors years ago, Labour set about a deliberate process to flood Barking & Dagenham with foreigners, replacing the newly politically conscious local British with an imported electorate guaranteed to vote Labour.” States Mr. Griffin.

He continues……

“We were defeated by simple demographics. The percentage of foreigners in Barking & Dagenham has sky-rocketed over the last 4 years, up from around 15% to nearly 40%, and BNP polling station tellers were shocked and horrified on polling day to witness the enormous queues of foreign faces eagerly waiting to vote for their party, Labour.”

I believe him. I rarely believe politicians whether to the ‘right’ or ‘left’ but I actually believe Nick Griffin. The very fact that the Liberal Democrats have so readily scrapped their ludicrous ‘illegal immigrant amnesty’ policy as part of their deal with the Conservatives is enough, for me, to show how Labour have, over the last 13 years, attempted to manipulate the voting population in the UK to ensure their indefinite governance.

I have even taken the precaution of verifying the information so readily supplied by the BNP with alternative sources.

Foreigners settling in Barking & Dagenham have indeed increased from 15% in 2006 to 40% in 2010. In fact, the 40% quoted by the BNP is actually a little conservative in the opinion of other sources.

In conclusion regarding Labour,

It is quite clear to me that, the Labour party has no interest what so ever in democracy. It has even less interest in the British people than any other political party.

All the Labour party wanted was to govern in perpetuity and, by a method of mass immigration, attempted to ensure more votes than any other party by introducing thousands of grateful immigrants into the equation.

An extraordinary number of senior Labour party politicians insisted that ‘the General Election showed Britain was not a Conservative country and the nation had voted to not have a Conservative government.’

The fact that their own party had been ‘hammered’ was conveniently ignored.

Certainly, and clearly, the Conservatives had failed to win an ‘overall’ majority, but, they had received over 2 million more votes than Labour and, given the somewhat bizarre size of ‘Conservative’ constituencies against the relatively ‘small’ size of Labour constituencies – combined with the ridiculous number of immigrants that have moved into Labour constituencies – , the Conservatives required an extraordinary amount of votes to maintain, let alone gain any ground on Labour – a fact again conveniently ignored by Labour.

I truly believe that getting rid of the charlatans that were the Labour government may well have saved MY country. MY England. – or if not ‘saved’ at least given us a fighting chance.

If Mandelson and Campbell had succeeded in creating a Lib/Lab government, only a full scale revolution could have saved people like me. People like you. Indigenous people.

The Liberals are certainly to be treated with caution. Clegg, initially, behaved impeccably by stating that he believed the ‘party with the most votes’ – ie the Conservatives – were entitled to form a new government. He then, sadly, started secret talks with Labour. Not good.

Still. Now we have a Conservative government with Liberal support.

Whilst it isn’t ideal I believe ‘Call Me Dave’ Cameron has played a sound hand.

Should Clegg fail to control the Liberals the electorate will plainly see that it is the Liberals who are stopping this alliance from working and, thus, destabilising the country.

Under such circumstances, Cameron could, quite reasonably, scrap the coalition and call a fresh General Election.

Labour and the Liberals couldn’t financially afford such an outcome and, the electorate, who have already rid us of Labour, would, I am certain, see that the Liberals had made a hash of it.

If this coalition fails – and I would rather like to see it succeed personally – the Liberals would return to the wilderness whence they came, Labour (with or without a new leader) would finish well behind the Tory’s and ‘Call Me Dave’ would become, outright, our Prime Minister.

There is hope whichever way it goes. Genuine hope. Something that has been greatly lacking over the last 13 years.

Great Britain is, without a shadow of a doubt, a conservative (with a small ‘c’) country. We are not a socialist country and have no desire to be – excepting, of course, the insane number of immigrants who, not surprisingly in many cases, believe a socialist government is best for them – and indeed it has proven to be.

We don’t want a government that is best for immigrants. We want a government that is best for us. The indigenous people. We are the one’s that count. Immigrants are welcome providing they ‘fit in’ to our ways.

Within the confines of their own homes ‘their ways’ are not intrusive on ours. In public they must be British first.

America has the right idea. Swear allegiance to the American Constitution and the American Flag or ‘get ye gone’.

Wouldn’t it be lovely to see a few million ‘get ye gones’?

You still think you’re safe now bitches?

I realy hope that ‘the worm’ is, at long last, turning. The ladies above are welcome here providing they respect ‘our’ ways. Their ways are secondary and, when ‘intrusive’ and decidedly uncomfortable for the indigenous people, must be confined to the privacy of their own homes. I would dearly love to see a law passed banning the full face burkha. It is not a ‘British’ way therefore should not be tolerated in Britain.

(Incidentally, a full face burkha is bugger all to do with Islam. It’s merely a way of subjugating women. Women who wear it are either subjugated by their husbands or, franky, trying to ‘wind us up’)

Ahhhhhhhhh!

I needed a good rant. I feel better for that!

Actually I’d prefer a British political system, as expressed by Lord Reith, of Dictatorship, tempered by assassination…..

Later’s……..

Now then…as Mikey as brought up this green and pleasant land (well…I might have but let’s not argue)

After three…..

One….

Two….

Three….

(Sing up at the back)

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England’s mountains green
And was the holy lamb of God
On England’s pleasant pastures seen

And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark Satanic mills

Bring me my bow of burning gold
Bring me my arrows of desire
Bring me my spears o’clouds unfold
Bring me my chariot of fire

I will not cease from mental fight
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
‘Til we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land
‘Til we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land……

It is just gone midnight in England. I have now got a lump in my eye and a tear in my throat….

….so goodnight you American people.

Love and hugs from England….

Sigh…Good night from America. Good night.

….and this bit of England has helped you get in shape!!!

What more could you ask for than me eh?…;-)

Henny : Soz…Nearly missed you there. Profuse apologies babe. You are almost certainly correct. I actually enjoy socialising with my neighbours who are mainly immigrants. I attend Diwali party’s with my Asian friends – I have no idea but I do get to drink lots of beer and eat curry –

I went to a Święto Państwowe party with some Polish Neighbours – I have no idea but I got to drink lots of Polish beer and Vodka…..

You are quite right.

We are a small country. As a result we, the English, are feeling very pressured by immigration.

I’m a protectionist not a racist.

Lithuania? India? Bangladesh? Poland? You wanna come here I’m flattered but, only in sensible numbers and, if you do, you either A) Become British (within reason) or B) Don’t stay too long.

We just ain’t got any more room….

We’re a tiddly squat Island.

Much more of this an we’ll have to build houses all over our ‘green and pleasent land’

Enough?

Krell : It’s been a few years since the wifey said I ‘stimulated’ her…I thank you…;-)…..actually I must show her this comment…it may revive things so to speak…

Big H? I love him already….I have no idea whether he hates me yet….if he buys me a beer one day I’ll forgive him…

Considering your previous history with buying beer for blokes who later turn out ungrateful, that might not be such a good idea. Must have a streak of masochism in you.

Other than the copynazi in me objecting to the comma splices, I have no trouble whatever understanding your posts. Or rants, as the case may be.

MH..I used to edit 4D’s posts. It would be easier to run a mile. I run the mile. I have lost all sorts of weight thanks to 4D 🙂

4D, I love reading your posts…probably because I am always confused as to what you are saying. It always requires at least a twice read and sometimes cheating with google to understand.Am I the only one??

With the context of the events happening in your country and your “unique” prospective,it definitely stimulates the thought process.

Mikey : ‘Cough Cough’ is merely a piss take of Obama’s first name – Barack. It sounds like someone clearing their throat.

Taking the piss is in my nature….I take it out of myself at least as much as others….

It’s no different to saying ‘Princess Tony’ for Tony Blair or renaming him, quite accurately, Bliar…

‘Call Me Dave’ Cameron, Gordon ‘the one eyed Jock’ Brown etc etc.

A lack of respect for politicians about sums it up….colour…sorry…color not withstanding…

I am ‘right wing’ in many of my views – which is unusual in someone who was a Union Rep.

Black people? Couldn’t give a monkeys mate. There’s good and bad in everyone and their colour…oops..color..;-) is immaterial – as, come to that, is their religion / lifestyle / sexual preference etc etc etc.

This probably / possibly makes me a slightly unusual ‘right winger’ but, possibly, ‘right wing’ in England maybe a wee bit different to America? No idea. Maybe it’s just me?

I often critisize Islam in England for being ‘intrusive’ – and it is. On the other hand, I campaigned successfully as a union rep (and I was the only rep campaigning) for a decent place for my muslim members to pray – the locker room being clearly unsuitable.

The chap who seemed to be the ‘appointed spokesman’ for the muslim empolyees (Mo Noor) became, and remains a very good friend of mine – he actually quite likes my ranting and raving as he sees me as honest – not malevolent – just honest. He also knows I consider him a friend and would defend him at all times in all ways if the need arose.

I have been accused of being ‘daft as a brush’ (mad as a hatter?)

I have been accused of being ‘a cropped headed hooligan’ (I have no idea…I think my cropped hair intimidated a manager who, perhaps, thought I would head butt him if he sacked the worker I was defending…he didn’t….and my muslim member kept his job)

I dunno old bean. I’m just me.

Mouthy, self opinionated, Northern (Lancastrian), oblivious to insults (I like Big H already), say what I think regardless, get punched in the head for saying it (not lately mind), upsetting the gentler souls, annoying the ‘lefties’, buying Jack Daniels and sharing the bottle with a devout muslim who’s job I saved, fighting to retain England as England should be, telling a muslim who insulted my daughter to ‘shove his head up his arse then almost shoving it there only an hour before I went to work and saved Mo’s job, saying ‘peek-a-boo’ to full face burkas in Hayes High Street (the wifey won’t even go there with me anymore), physically removing three drunken youths from my neighbours the Mahmoods home as they shouted insults at them (single handedly I hasten to add…the Police declined to appear as it wasn’t an emergency)

My daughter Jacqui introduced me to Green Day many years ago.

She said, “Daddy? I’ve found your song”

‘Walking Contradiction’

If it’s good enough for my Jax…..

Considering that Great Britain is roughly the size of Kansas, I can imagine that the tolerance for all aliens legal or illegal would be lower than it would be for the US.

How are you going to assimilate so many people with so little geographic area in which to cram them? In their native countries, often overcrowded, they are thinking a one bedroom efficiency flat is roomy, but the native Brits are used to a little more lebensraum and are understandably put out- especially when the immigrants strain social services.

We have TONS of geography here and room for these starter McMansions everyone seems hellbent on erecting in every pasture. Some 5000+ square feet to house 4 people- a sickening waste of space. Nobody, except maybe the native Americans, has any right to bitch about “not having room” over here for immigrants. I’m sure if 4D lived here instead he’d might feel less put upon.

MH — that’s a big part of it. The country has a population one-fifth that of the US, but geographically it’s one-fortieth the size — so there is one-eighth as much land per person. The population density in north-central England, where 4D originally hails from, is probably the highest in Europe.

Another problem is lack of historical experience with immigration. Until the last few decades, Britain hadn’t had any really large inflows of people for centuries. Right now there are 6.7 million foreign-born people in Britain, which is 11% of the total population — by American historical satndards that would be low, but by British standards it’s jaw-droppingly high.

LOL! If you are going to write in America you must write “American.” 🙂 Which reminds me. I cut the grass today and I changed colour. What a tan! When I was done I had to go to the local tyre shop and buy a new tyre for my tractor. The proprietor questioned my tractor driving behaviour. I should never have tried to drive over those glass bottles.

Big H : 1) I confess I’m partial to Tetley tea in bags…milk no sugar…

1a) Neither did we particuarly give a monkeys about yours but SKY rammed the garbage down our throats 24/7. (And at least we have a guy…er…two guys… in charge who’s name(s) don’t require clearing the throat….)

2) I don’t want an empire…it’s the bloody empire that gave us half of these bloody immigrants!

3) Our football hooligans are harder than yours and if you have the audacity to beat us in the forthcoming World Cup, you will find this out in a most painfull way…it’s an English tradition to beat up anyone who beats us you know…;-)

Just thought I’d remind you Mr. Conservative Tea Bagger that the election is over, we didn’t care much about it before and even less now its over, another reminder its over, you’ve got your country back, do you think you’ll get your Empire back, I doubt it. All the people who forged the Empire are long gone and all that’s left is a bunch of soccer hooligan whiners. Its over, its over, its over, its over, ITs O-V-E-R.

Well BigHarry can you tell us how you really feel 🙂

Now to my point: Dinners. old beaner, you are mistaken if you think America has a “get ye gone” philosophy. We do not. We have millions and millions of immigrants, illegal aliens, space aliens, Sarah Palin aliens, and etc. They are here and no one is kicking them out. You don’t have a problem with illegals. America might. But you don’t.

Finally what is this “cough-cough” bullshit before you mention our president ? You really are the British version of our Tea-Baggers huh? Don’t like black people? Just curious. Interested in your thought process 🙂

Pshaw. Some Americans do have an interest in what goes on outside our own borders. It’s too bad MMA doesn’t have a German guest blogger to give us an inside look at the weekend’s election in Nordrhein-Westfalen (that’s in Germany) (Germany is in Europe), the impact of which could be considerable.

“Conservatism” and issues like immigration work quite differently in Britain than they do here, in part due to the great differences in history.

Anyway, Mad Mike is big on attracting lots of readers, and who’s to say 4D isn’t pulling in a few readers from Britain and points nearby?

I would LOVE to have a German writer, and a French writer, and a Dutch writer. I am an international kind of guy. Born in England, educated in Italy, lived in Germany, rolled around in SE Asia and etc. etc. etc.

It is true that we get some traffic from other countries. That is, however, mainly because of imaginative headlines. In addition, writers like 4D have a loyal following. The fact that they follow him on MMA, makes us loyal hosts 🙂 🙂

Go in peace for all to follow 🙂

I have to side with you on the burka thing. I don’t at all begrudge the French for seeking to outlaw it. It’s just a little too f**ked up on various levels. Law enforcement is not crazy about it either. I wonder how I would be treated if I walked into a bank with a burka on?
